Specifically and by example, the draft NTP Brief on Bisphenol A (BPA) released by the National Toxicology Program of the National Institutes of Health report states, "the vast majority of bisphenol A exposure is through the diet ~ 99%"

For products that specifically claim to be BPA-Free, the plastics and resin that comes into direct contact with food and beverage are made of Polypropylene material, silicone or other plastic materials, all of which are BPA free. Other parts of the product which do not come into contact with food or beverage may contain BPA in some of the plastics and resins that are used. For products that do not claim to be BPA-Free, we have insufficient information to support a BPA-Free claim at this time.

what is the real difference between models hc150b and hc150bw besides one being white the other black and the small price difference?

Thank you for your question, DG. Both food choppers feature 2-year warranties, and are a 1.5-cup capacity. Both food choppers operate at 70 watts, 120 volts, 60 hertz, and 0.583 amps. The only difference between the two models are the color. The HC150B is black, while the HC150BW is white.

It chops to very fine . I have never used it as a blender but possibly could blend. It doesn't have a lot of room for liquid as it might spill over the top.
