Does this work with your hair wet?

I have had this product for 2+ years and have tried everything. I believe your hair should be damp (just mist with a spray bottle) for the best results. Soaking wet or bone dry doesn’t train your hair to hold the curl well.

Does this work on layered hair?

I don’t have layered hair but as long as you’re pulling it and wrapping them I would imagine you could.

What's the trick to the ends not getting kinked by the hair ties?!

I only wrap the ties 2 or 3 times based on hair thickness, then fold the ends of the curler rod up to hold the ties securely

My hair is very long, past my butt would this work for my length of hair?

The weight of your hair might be the determining factor. You might need a couple of sets to get a satisfactory wave or curl.
