I have 2 compressors. The AstroAI has a similar hose. My Everstart has a screw-on tip. I started taking the hose off of one to use on the other and decided that I needed another hose. This is it, and it works great! Besides, if the hose on the AstroAI breaks again, I will need a spare anyway! The screw part is the same size and pitch as a tire valve.

One of the greatest things about the compressor is the ability to hook it up to a variety of tire pressure gauges, inflators, and air tools. The best one I've found is this adapter that I bought for it. It allows you to hook the compressor up to the tire valves without having to screw it on. I've been using this little adapter for over a year, and it still works great. The only thing I would change is that this adapter isn't compatible with truck or large tractor tires, but I don't have any other issues with it.
