I’ve had no problems with this strap. The readings are consistent when paired with the Polar H10. This strap lasted two years for me. I expect the replacement to last just as long. I put it in a bag and tossed it in with the laundry once a week and also made sure to rinse it out with shampoo after each daily workout.

I'm a big guy and I needed an XL strap for my Polar H10. This was the best option, and it fits with room to spare. After sizing to Polar recommendations (6" gap when loosely wrapped around the chest), and clicking it shut, it practically disappears. In fact, after a workout I find myself checking to see if I have removed the strap or not! Very comfy, very well made, with "grippy strips" on the inside to improve fit. You won't be disappointed.

I bought this strap replacement almost 3 years ago. It’s just now starting to tear where the electrodes are, which is causing issues with HR readings. This was $34 when I bought it in August 2023. Why is it $120 now?!! Of course, the size I need (XXXL) is sold out on Polar’s official website ($61 there). For these prices, I may as well buy a new device. .

Started getting erratic and no readings from my heart rate monitor and battery replacement was not helping. The only thing I had not done up to that point to try and get it to work was replaced the strap. Polar products are awesome however they don’t last forever. The strap is probably going to be replaced before anything else. After replacing the strap, my H 10 heart rate monitor worked as expected. These are pricey, however, they are absolutely essential in the correct operation of your monitor. Most likely the thing that led to the downfall of my original strap was it was accidentally run through the clothes wash. Never do that.

Of your being intermittent readings - this could be your issue. Just remember these straps are NOT washing machine safe. Wash in warm soapy water and let line dry

first, the good: 1.) The strap is comfortable, the plastic buckles are easy to fasten and unfasten. 2.) The battery in the sending unit is easy to change. No more using a coin or large washer to try to open the back. It just pries off. That is the end of the good. Now for the bad: 1.) The battery only lasts about two weeks in daily use unless the sending unit is unplugged fros the strap when not in use. 2.) The snaps on the strap are very poorly constructe. A snap pulled out of two different straps. The strap lasts about six months before it fail s. 3.) The replacement strap (only) is ex-pen-sive for just a strap.

Der original Gurt für den h10 ist ein Verschleißteil. Je nach Benutzung braucht man spätestens alle 2-3 Jahre einen neuen, da das Gummi spröde wird und die Kontaktfläche kaputt geht. Spätestens, wenn der H10 öfters die Verbindung verliert oder keinen Puls erkennt, ist es Zeit für einen neuen Gurt. Ich bin durchschnittlich sportlich, aber muss den "M-XXL" schon auf größte Stufe stellen, sonst bekomme ich ihn kaum zu. Die Qualität ist schon gut, aber der Preis ist auch fürstlich für ein Gummiband mit ein paar Metallkontakten... Immerhin gibt es jetzt ein paar neue Designs; bis auf die Farben ist die Funktion der Teile jedenfalls gleich.
