Good healthy and responsibly harvested mollusk. A priceless ocean gem!
These are the finest and most delicious abalone anybody has ever tasted. I have been using them for years and they were very hard to find but now Amazon brings them as close to my stove as humanly possible. I use them in my special seafood Paella, as an appetizer, an empanada stuffing etc.

will try for the first time
I have not tried these yet, I think they will be tasty. I ordered one can, so I could try them. I haven't taken the time to try these yet. Internet instructions, these need to be pounded for tenderization, and boiled in salt water for 45 minutes, I think they are worthy to try

Do not buy them or you will waste your money
Don't buy them. They are extremely hard not even a sharp knife can cut them, much less eat them. Extra priced to have to trow them to garbage. The dog was not capable to eat that garbage.

The Dented Can concerns me.
Being that the can was bent in, I’m concerned about its freshness. Not sure if it’s safe to eat.

Very delicious and tender Albalone!
I was looking forward to finally trying Abalone, the exorbitant price of a can for 4 pieces was a surprise that it could be so expensive and I had bought it as a gift for my Dad. But he is in his 90's and got too frail to cook so I did not give him the can. I made it the other night with Bok choy, scallops, ginger, garlic, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce and sesame oil then topped with green onion and it was to die for! Put some up in the freezer to share with him the next time I visit. Although it was expensive it became a "bucket list" delicacy to try. Tasted very much like a buttery tender clam, yummy!

The tenderness of abolone.
The Locos/abolone called in Chile locos translated to English as crazies were okay, I kind of expected it not to be good as fresh ones because they come in a can. I was in Chile last December 2025 and had fresh ones, and it really was a lot better not as hard or chewy as canned.

Not the same quality, price no longer justified.
I've been buying GEOMAR Locos Abalone for several years. It used to be flavorful and delicious—definitely worth the price—but now its texture is grainy and it falls apart, like farmed rather than wild abalone. The taste is lacking, the quality has declined, and the high price is no longer justified.
