I bought these for a shelf project using pipe flanges affixed either side of an 18mm timber shelf project. In order to prevent any of the 'screw into wood' fixings failing I opted to fasten through using 5mm countersunk machine screws into 5mm countersunk rivet screws & ended up with a solution that will never fail. Very handy to be able to buy smaller amounts as in most cases obtaining engineering supplies involves buying much larger quantities.
