I'll be a Speck guy from here on out! I love this case! It has made life so much easier on me! I had been looking at the Presidio's for a long time as I purchased this case & that case for different phones as the years passed. My main need was for case with a good grip. I'm in a wheelchair and my phone sits on my lap often when I'm driving in my vehicle. Of course, I tend to drive too fast, like most of us, and in the past have had problems with my phone sliding off my lap! Then I have to go through the whole process of getting it picked up once I get to my destination. I had seen different reviews for the Speck Presidio case where some were complaining of the rubber strips coming off or being defective, but -That Has NOT Been the Case (No pun intended) for me! It still looks just the way it did the day I bought it and I very very rarely have the problem of my phone sliding off my lap anymore! It's been a lifesaver! This is the only case I will own from here on out! Unless Speck comes out with a different model that will serve me just as well. If you are looking for the qualities in a cell phone case that I was also looking for then this is the case for you! It's very low profile so it's not bulky and it still has the lip to protect the screen as well, although I would recommend a screen protector - just for good measure. Hope this review helps you guys who look are of have looked through thousands and thousands of cases like I did before going with the one I should have chosen from the get-go.Btw - what I've learned from wasting all those hours and effort looking through pages and pages of products is that you should just go with your gut. Be sure there is a return policy in case it just doesn't seem like the right case for you. Chances are, you will like it and you won't stress so hard trying to find the perfect one. I wish I had n't paid so much attention to the negative reviews I read. No matter what product - there will be people who love and people who hate the exact same product. Some people are harder on cases than others. What kind of person are you? Had I trusted my gut a long time ago I would have been much happier way before now. In no way has this case given me any trouble whatsoever, but -I'm so pleased with it that IF it were to mess up on me (hypothetically) every 6 months, it would absolutely be worth the money to buy again (2 per year) if necessary.. That's how much more pleased I am with this Brand & model case than others I have purchased in the past. Thank goodness that's not the case, but just trying to make my point.Hope this helps you with your search/choice!

This is a nice case. First the pros. The case is slim with a great feel in the hand and as the name implies has a great non slip feel. I had a tempered glass screen protector from Zizo on my S8+ and the case works fine with it. The buttons are VERY tactile and easy to press. It feels like there is nothing between me and the buttons as far as the tactile response. Another plus for me is that you can get a belt holster for it at a reasonable price. I have always used a belt clip for extra protection of the face and as a stand. I had another case with a belt clip that I like and it worked fine. Now the cons. There is very little lip on the top and bottom. I have seen Youtube videos of this case tested in a 10 foot drop. The case did very well with a corner drop, but not a face drop. Now to be fair the tester didn't have a screen protector on the phone, but still with so little lip, there is a question in my mind on how well it would protect from a face drop. Another down side for me is that according to another Youtube tester, this case will NOT work on the Whitedome full screen adhesive tempered glass protector. From what I have seen, this is the best tempered glass screen protector out there... It should be for the price. Overall I can see why this is one of the top rated cases. I would recommend this to a friend.

I love Spek cases and after getting my first one I switched to using them exclusively. The come in nice colors, aren't super bulky or expensive, and they work really well. I drop my phone constantly, and the only time my screen ever cracked was when I had a screen protector on it. It has a bumper to prevent your screen from making contact with the ground when it drops but the screen protector stuck out enough to where it hit the floor and made my screen shatter as well. If you want a nice looking and reliable case that won't break the bank then you can't go wrong with Spek.

Really impressed with Speck Presidio Grip case for Galaxy S8+. It fits phone like a glove, the buttons are very tactile, & it looks nice. The raised ribs on back & side make it easy to hold & keep from slipping out of your hand. If you're looking for a compact case that doesn't add bulk to phone, the Speck Presidio Grip flawlessly passes that test. And wireless charging works perfectly. Of course, the ultimate goal is protection & durability so time will tell. Right now, it's the perfect case for Samsung Galaxy S8+.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this case!!! Its sturdy as hell and my phone fell considerably high from my bed and onto a hard plug extension and survived fine... no scratches no cracked screen nothing!!! Once phone is in case it's hard to get off which is fine by me as means heavy duty and will do its job... grips on the back are amazing and non slippery even when hands are sweaty... I would Recommend this highly for any top end smartphone needing the tough treatment or for the clumsy alike which is me...

I have had it for 6 months now, and nothing to complain. Sturdy, and nothing peeled off yet. Very nice grip. Not slippery. My only complaint would be, the dirt kind of gets stuck on the lines but meh. Not a deal breaker.

This is a very strong endorsement for Speck cell phone cases...We went for a drive in our car and when up to about 80km/hr (50mph) we heard this noise and looked back and saw something blue in the road. My phone which I had set on the roof of the car. As we are backing up a car comes along and we saw they had driven over it😱 We go back and the phone had come out of the case thankfully!.It has a scratch on the corner of the phone and not a crack or mark anywhere else. The case has a crack on corner with dirt tire tracks inside where it was run over and nothing else.This case is designed for impact!!!! Very impressed!

Product does exactly what it said. Protects the phone and looks sharp on my wife's phone. Very happy with specks product line.
