Terrasil® Antibacterial Skin Repair (14 gram)

I tried this product for LS after reading the good reviews here, particularly the one by someone who is alternating with twice weekly use of Clobetasol as that's my situation. I found that within 10 minutes of applying the cream, I started to feel irritation I hadn't experience for months. After 30 minutes I had to wash it off and apply my usual Aquaphor product. I'm hoping this is not going to trigger a flare up but in any event, Terrasil obviously isn't a silver bullet for everyone with Lichen Sclerosus.

Overpriced and infective. I had to buy the real thing from the USA vitamin supplier I use, who luckily has an EU warehouse and ships to UK. Much cheaper as well. Terrasil are a pretty decent brand, but not cheap, this stuff however was hopeless and got me no relief at all.

I have been suffering with peri oral dermatitis for TWELVE years!! I guess symptoms may vary a little from person to person but mine were sore, burning, itching, angry red bumps all around my mouth and chin and lower nose. As you can imagine, I have tried every single thing you can think of and many you couldn’t think of. I went to a dermatologist at the beginning of 2014 after about 6 months of trying different things on my own. I was given a couple of topical prescriptions which didn’t work. Then he recommended Accutane which is a somewhat scary oral medication. I was reluctant to take it but I finally agreed. I took it for a year with no improvement in symptoms. So I stopped that drug and he gave me some samples of another topical. No improvement. Then he kinda threw up his hands and said, more or less, I don’t know what else to do. From then until now I’ve sporadically tried different things or just lived with it. Using makeup when I’m out and about. On May 11, 2025 I, honestly, don’t remember what made me search Amazon, yet AGAIN, for something I hadn’t tried before. Well, I saw Terrasil and read the reviews and thought okay I guess maybe I’ll try one more stupid thing that won’t work. Sigh. And then it was quite expensive so I hesitated. Anyway, I ordered and received the next afternoon. Well, the directions were to use once or twice per day. I put on a small amount all around my mouth and it seemed very benign and gentle. No burning no nothing. So I used a couple of times during afternoon/evening.(I tend to be a if some is good more is better type). The next morning when I woke up the whole peri oral area was one big SCAB and scale like I’d been burned. It wasn’t red and didn’t feel bad. Just scab, scab, scab. Well, didn’t know what to think about that really. I won’t go into boring detail about day to day improvements but, as of June 19, 2025, this miserable skin condition that I’ve suffered with all these years is 98/99% healed! The scabs and scale just sloughed off and reformed, sloughed off and reformed less and less each day. There were a few new bumps and I used a TEENY, TINY amount of Terrasil on those once a day. I’m SO, SO, SO AMAZED and HAPPY!!!! Thank you, Terrasil! I guess I should buy a lifetime supply. UPDATE: It’s now August 7, 2025. I’m still AMAZED! My peri oral dermatitis is gone but I still need to use Terrasil once per day because I can tell by a subtle burning sensation that a red bump is about to erupt. Maybe I’ll have to use indefinitely but that’s ok. Almost 3 months later I’m still on the my first .5 oz tube. But, of course, my problem is a small area and I use a tiny amount. I have another tube waiting though. ALSO, I had an actinic keratosis on my forehead. Very small, pink scaly spot from sun damage. I’ve had it for 20-25 years. I’ve used this or that cream now and then but none worked. I didn’t really care bc it’s really small and unnoticeable. However, I thought I’d just try this Terrasil that I was using for the other problem. It took 2 months of once a day use but the AK is now GONE. Yup. At least 20 years but now gone. So there ya go. Just sayin.

This ointment worked very well for me and noticeably improved the appearance of an old scar. It was easy to apply and helped the area look smoother and healthier over time. I am very pleased with the results and would purchase it again.

This product works well for soothing irritated skin and helps support healing. I noticed improvement after regular use, especially on dry and uncomfortable areas. It feels gentle on the skin and didn’t cause irritation. The texture is easy to apply and not too greasy. The only downside is the small size, so it runs out quickly. Overall, it’s a good skin repair option and worth trying.

Amazing product. I had a full thickness blister and started using this right away. I applied it, kept it covered with a bandaid at all times only applying it twice a day. It was completely healed within 5 days. I feel like Wolverine. Before and after pics added.
