Worked perfectly for our uromastyx! I will be buying the replacement bulb with them. Light quality is exactly what it needs to be and the size was perfect for his 4'x2'x2' enclosure.

This light is bright, does not give off the annoying electric buz that others often do. Easy to install, weighs nothing, it also came with a connection cord to link multiple lights together so you only have to have one power outlet to run multiple lights. Extremely functional and seems prety durable. The switch is an on off flip switch with no timer option, the expense is high but absolutely worth it to provide what your reptile needs. This is the number one recomended brand for consistency and durability. Please be aware it is recomended to replace your lights every 6-12 months even if the light turns on. Over time it's output loses potency and this could reak havoc when it comes to you pets health. If you want to get the best value for your dollar before you decide to replace your lamp I recomend you buy repti zoo UBV UVA UV lamp testers, they are 7.99 and can save you big money in the long run.

Great light. Did SOOO much research finding the best UVB source for my bearded dragon. Acadia and Reptisun were the only two recommended options everywhere I looked so gave this a shot. Quality fixture, light output is great, and measuing within range at his basking spot. Can't go wrong.

I ordered this late March to prepare for my bearded dragon arrival in early April. It stopped working within a week and it’s already out of the return window . Convenient. I had to rush to find something to replace it with and the closest pet store is an hour from me .

My vet recommended this bulb- he is brilliant and keeps up-to-date on all of the evidence-based data. Most of the regular lights by "reptile" brands are junk from China (no testing, no standards). (I'm Asian and not at all biased racially, just stating facts!) This bulb is not cheap; however, it's the most effective one I've seen . Within 24 hours, my bearded dragon was perking up, basking at a lower height than before (indicating greater UVB); and the research I've done on this bulb shows that it performs the best. Replace about every 8-9 months. (Few months longer than the other repti-bulbs which need replacing about every 6- but again, are junk...most UVB testers can go right up to touching the bulb and show no UVB, so you get what you pay for in this instance!)

Real complaint is the linking cable is too short. The bulb is kind of hard to install

It is pricey😅 BUT totally worth it. My dragons are getting the UVBs that they need to keep them happy and healthy.👍🦎🦎 everything came intact. Bulb was NOT broken, light fixture worked and was measured for UVB strength everything is perfect.
