Alumilite High Strength 3 Tin-Based Silicone Rubber Molding (5 lb)

Alumilite delivered a faulty product. If you are at all aware of how mold making products work, you know that the consistency of the product should not be full of hard un-mixable balls of material. The material was not pourable at all. After contacting alumilite directly, they agreed to send a replacement. The replacement product was EXACTLY as bad as the first batch. They finally admitted that they had been having manufacturing issues and agreed to send a refund. I tried for three months to obtain this refund. They repeatedly asked for the order number and ticket number and kept claiming I had not sent them the correct info. After almost three months, they claimed the product was fulfilled by Amazon and not them, so any refund would have to be obtained from Amazon. How convenient that by this time, the refund period from Amazon had expired. My strong recommendation is to go buy Smooth-on mold making and casting products. Do NOT BUY ALUMILITE. They can no longer make a guality product.

The second part that is supposed to cure my sillicone is water. I didn't receive the correct products. It never cured. I tried talking to Amazon & alumilite & they refused to help me. Horrible service.

Turns out that it shrinks after a couple of weeks. From 72.4mm to 70.4mm, which is insane...Just read on the official website, that the linear shrinkage is 0.3%...It can only be used if dimensional accuracy is not important.Super frustrating. I basically need to start over now. One little detail that this amazon listing failed to mention.
