DVI adapter works great for DVI to VGA
Worked as expected. I needed the DVI without the extra pins around the blade, that is what I got - video came through as needed. I was working on a server software that could not use the HDMI, DisplayPort or DVI signals. Had to be the VGA signal. All good now - Thanks

Exactly what I need
Exactly what I need to connect my laptop and desktop computers to share a Samsung monitor with a RGB and HDMI input ports. So one PC uses the HDMI to HDMI connection, the other uses the DVI to RGB connection. Then I use the monitor built-in button to switch between the HDMI and RGB inputs. This eliminated the need to use an external HDMI 2 to 1 switch which does not work well without manually reconnect the cable upon switching from one input to the other.

Works great and easy to install
Super easy to install and use. The thing I like most about this product is that the power on functions perfectly. Sometimes when using adapters you have to turn your monito off and on again, when the monitor has gone to sleep and you want to wake the computer, but I haven't had that issue with this adapter.

keeping dvi alive.
Just what the doctor ordered. My old Dell had only dvi and hdmi. Same for my monitor. Hdmi was for the tv so I needed to go from dvi to vga on a new monitor. Always a struggle keeping up to ever changing technology.

Plugged it into my motherboards DVI port to connect my second AVI monitor into. Shows a better picture to my monitor than my straight AVI plugged in monitor. Got a dual setup now for much cheaper than a new video card!
