desertcart.com: HDMI to VGA Adapter,Gold-Plated Active HDMI to VGA Converter with Micro USB and 3.5mm Audio Cable,HDMI to VGA with Audio Cord for PC/Laptop/Projector : Electronics Review: No doubt - Have these to date...2023.. I never doubt buying this...work wonders Review: Works just fine - There are NO instructions of any sort with this item, so I have no idea why it came with a micro USB cord (the package says it uses a "Micro USB Power Supply", but WHY??). I connected it to the HDMI out of the laptop and then to a VCG cable to the monitor, and it works perfectly just like that - no USB required. For a really low price I can just keep using my old VGA monitor as a second screen instead of buying a new one. The device also has an audio out jack, and it works perfectly with both speakers and headsets, so now I do not even need to mess with plugging something else into the laptop when I set it up on the desk.
