High Quality, great price!
Very high quality band, especially for the price. I purchased it to replace the original band on my Fossil watch that was "genuine leather", meaning nothing more than plastic leather, not actual leather. This band you can tell is the real deal made out of quality leather not crappy plastic "leather" by the way it scuffs and the smell. I have a Timex Weekender that has the same style of band and the original Timex band is significantly thinner than this band, I will be buying a second to update my Timex band as well. Changing it out was very easy. Took less than 5 minutes. The dark brown color with the silver is beautiful! This band is the perfect size for either a smaller wrist like I have or a large wrist. If you have a smaller wrist, you'll have to tuck the end into itself, which I don't mind at all. Actually, I prefer this look. It's a good stiffness and flexibility, not too loose. Not too stiff. It's too early to tell how easy or hard this will be to clean, but with it being leather all you'll have to do is condition it every once in awhile and it'll be looking good for a long time.

Great Straps
Real leather, much, much better than Bartonโs Straps more expensive โleatherโ Nato style strap offering. Things to be aware of: I purchased a couple of straps, and the leather thickness varied so much that there was a one-hole difference between the straps. (See photo.) The thicker straps will be a tight fit on some watches and leave a mark if you thread the strap between the spring bars and case. (See photo.) If you have small (6 1/4โ) wrists, youโll find that the strap is too long. If you have thicker leather, you will not be able to tuck it into the keeper. You may also need to punch a new hole. I purchased a 20 mm half-round leather punch and a 1.5 mm hole punch, which solved both problems for me. (I bought 18mm strapsโyou wonโt find 18mm half-round punches, however. It was worth the expense; the straps now fit like a dream. See photo.) Finally, if the strap is a little tight, you can pull it to stretch it a little bit; itโs good leather.

The green looks great
I have mixed feelings about this watch band. I purchased the green crazy horse which I think looks great and weathers nicely. As others have said, it is about an inch too long compared to most nylon NATO straps, however, I consider that to be a slight advantage as the excess leather helps to fold over and tuck the strap more securely if you fold it in over the top loop instead of folding out and under. If you don't like the length, leather can easily be trimmed to size. Comments about it stretching are odd to me - it's leather - leather stretches. Mine has not stretched, but I imagine if I were to wear it too tightly, it would stretch out. At $17-20, it's about $5 overpriced for what it is, but it's still cheaper than other options. Edges of the strap are raw and not painted, nor are are they burnished well; little bits of fray poke out here and there - this is an aesthetic suited to a field watch. This is a great choice if you want a band which looks warn or vintage right away. Lug width is accurate. It holds my old beat up Hamilton nicely. I was worried that the thickness of the leather in a NATO design might add too much bulk under the watch but it works well. More than anything, I'm glad that it's actually leather and not some form of synthetic.

NATO strap makes my Timex Expedition look great!
I haven't had it very long, but so far I like it very much. It perfectly complements the Timex Expedition chrono I put it on and makes it truly look like a retro aviator watch. The leather color is perfect. The strap itself is a bit thin and I suppose it will stretch and/or wear rather quickly, and I do try to keep it dry, but as far as looks are concerned, it's a hit. I got a "Nice watch!" the very first day I wore it, from a gas station attendant. It's a $50 Timex chrono with this strap, so we're not talking fancy... but it wears with style, especially if you like that retro Long Range Desert Patrol or "Rat Patrol" look. Since I'm currently fascinated by pseudo aviators these days, this is a good way to make that statement for not a lot of money, and the NATO strap helps tremendously. I'm new to the G10 NATO and Zulu, but I'm already experimenting with others (I also like black nylon "special ops" style, which I just put on my old Chase-Durer UDT chrono). I hope this is as good a buy as it seems to be. If it is, I will try more. (After several months of use, this fairly thin band has stretched some and has become stained with sweat, so it doesn't look as sharp as it first did. If your watch is a rugged outdoor type, then it's probably all right, but it won't look as dressed-up as you might prefer. Knock a star off for this, but I still like the strap all in all.) --W.D. Not navy blue
Looks like a nice watch strap but the navy blue color is not navy blue. More of a blue with greenish hues. If thatโs what youโre looking for it seems like a good watch strap.

Quality product
From literal end to end (edge of buckle to pointed tip of other end) it is 11.5 inches. Real leather, soft and pliable. The color (green) was as pictured/advertised. This is comfortable, feels and looks well-made and I would buy another if I had a need for a 2nd watch band. BTW, it may be hard to tell from the pictures, but this is a NATO strap (this is what I ordered and a NATO strap is what I received). That is a positive. It fits my Timex Expedition watch ideally.

Will bleed and stain anything it touches.
it will bleed and leave your entire wrist the color of the band. not the absolute worst qaulity, but still nice color.

Very Nice Strap
I have had it for about a a month now and I like it. I own several zulu / nato style straps both in leather and nylon. Of the leather nato straps I own, this one is by far the best. One of my hobbies is leather working, so I am very particular about leather watch straps. The leather itself is not too thin, not too thick. However, it is thick enough to get scuffed while looping it between the watch case and the spring bars. I was able to remove the scuff marks by applying a thin coat of waterproof leather sealing wax. It protected the surface while adding a deeper, richer color plus it concealed the scuff marks. The hardware is nice as well. It has an almost mirrored finish, but it is a perfect match for the color of this strap. An area of improvement could be the edges of this strap. Despite the fine workmanship of the strap in general, the edges are rough. This could easily be solved by burnishing the edges to give them a smooth finish. I used a wooden burnishing tool and was able to smooth out the edges in about 10 minutes. Strap looks and feels great now! Overall, I like this strap and would buy another one again without hesitation.

Great quality and looks amazing.
Good quality leather, looks amazing and very comfortable. Absolutely love the color, the only drawback I can think of is that it can scratch a little but it "heals" if rubbed as a typical leather product does.
