Not going to knock them a star cause I was easily able to rectify the situation. What happened on my 2018 FXFBS with forward controls was the bottom brackets fit perfectly but when trying to attach the top bolt it was about 6 inches from being able to reach due to the bottom area hitting my foot peg support. I took it off and ground of about a quarter inch of material from the crash bar where it was hitting and after it fit perfect where the grinding was done you cannot see it when installed. So all good in the end!

Firstly, the bars arrived in a timely manner, were packed well, and included almost all necessary hardware (no loc tite, but not going to knock em for that).The bars are well made and i can tell theyre molded perfect for the frame. Had to hold the clutch cable out of the way, but a very nice fitNow i dont know if mine were bent in shipping, or if i got a bad set, but they did not align quite right. I had to bend the bars very slightly, ended up stripping one of the frame threads, but still managed to get it mounted after retapping the hole and replacing the socket cap screw.That all out of the way, they look ok on the bike. They seem a bit more forward than i was expecting, and higher too, but they do feel sturdy and work well.Ill give this the benefit of doubt and give it 5 stars. The build quality is there, i think mine was a bit borked. They look sharp, and are a great product

Great product and good quality but does not fit the new style Fat Boy

The media could not be loaded.  I purchased one and it didn’t come with hardware. So I waited for the replacement that actually came with hardware. Unfortunately, it does not fit a 2023 Fat Bob with forward controls. The bike is straight off the showroom floor with no modifications. I purchased the Harley brand and it fit perfectly. The difference was about 1/4 inch difference in length of bolt holes (the pics show the Harley brand mounted). Video is this video not fitting. The bottom leg just weren’t long enough to allow it to fit around the foot peg controls. Although, the Harley brand was twice the price, it was worth it and Harley is heavier, so I would guess it’s better quality.

This is a good option on price, but some modification was need to get the primary side to line up due to the shift linkage bracket mounted on the frame was in the way. Need to notch (grind down) some material to finish that side of the install. The air breather side you have to forced down to line up for install. Not a straight bolt on but with some determination it can be installed.

This item saved us from far more serious injury when an accident laid our bike down. Instead of severe burns and/or broken bones we walked away with nothing more than a few scrapes. Ordering a new one, hanging the bent one on the wall as a reminder

The crash bar does not fit 2023 Street Bob & had to be returned.

The only issue I had with installing this was the upper bolts. It is hard to get behind the upper cooler mount with a wrench. As an other user mentioned the lower mounts have a little space between them and the frame before cinching down the bolts but when tightening the bolts it pulls the bar together and adds to the rigidity of the crash bar. This bar is a fraction of the cost of the factory bar and has been mistaken for a factory bar by many people.

Wasnt happy that rust like powder fell out of tube onto carpet and bolts didnt fit. Otherwise very happy
