Inexpensive repair item, fixing key failures. Installation is not that difficult, yet there are some very small connectors that require caution. Overall, if your keyboard is at a point of not acceptable, than this minor cost replacement may be a consideration vs replacing the entire unit? There are many online videos as to the proceedure.

Great value, easy to install, and worked immediately

I used this lighted keyboard to replace an unlit keyboard on a Dell E7250. This fit nicely. The keys have a good precise action. The only trouble was the cables for the keyboard and the backlight assembly were about a centimeter too long. But the battery fit in as usual and it all seems to work, so ...Interestingly the backlight stays on all the time, despite proper BIOS settings. Isn't responding to Fn+F10 toggle as it should. Unable to reach vendor to inquire.

I had purchased 3 other keyboards and each one the data cable was to short to reach the connectors. This time was different though. This time the data cable fit perfect and the only issues was the backlit connector was to short. After 4 keyboards I didn't care and as long as the keys worked I was ok with it.
