Is there a round section at top and bottom to fit into drilled holes?

I just ordered. I see the to IS ROUND, but the shoes are square. I'm hoping these are a fit!! Could not see where to contact seller for more info on this?

do they come in package ? where do we get the wood railing for the top ??

i went into the woods behind my house and found a dried tree branch and cut the bottom flat, then sanded the whole thing, polyurethaned it and drilled holes and epoxied in place. looks amazing
