I did not like this shredder at first. It did not work as we expected. My husband started using shredder oil. I learned how to set the paper in hight and to seperate papers more. I love this shredder now. We have done 3 lawn bags of papers in no time. Keeping it and happy to do it. Thanks!Great job for the money. Quiet and easy to use once you figure it out. Did not have proble.s with over heating. I used a smaller shredder for small pieces.

Coming from a manual feed shredder this thing is great! We can fill it up, let it go to work, and do other things while it does the heavy lifting. We are using it in our home office, with lots of very old documents to dispose of. Not sure how it would be in a commercial setting, but for us it’s almost perfect. Only wish it would do credit cards and paper clips. But for old files, we could not be happier.

This shredder doesn’t stand up to its promise! It cannot shred 300 pages, it constantly gets jammed! First, you must remove all staples! Second, it will jam every 3 or 4 pages and it takes forever! If you switch to a manual shredding, it takes no more than 2 pages at a time and even then it constantly jams! Don’t buy! I had to return it after 2 days of hassle.

I run a tax office; a working shredded paper is critical to have. This is the 3rd shredder I have purchased. The first was a small hand feed. While it still works, it's not big enough. The 2nd wasn't bad BUT the bin was much too small. When cleaning out old years, I was having to empty the bin every few batches.This one has a 16-gallon bin. While still a little small for the amount I shred each year during clean-out, it's sufficient. I can open the bin and press the paper down creating more space. I haven't had any issues with jams, tired motor, or slowing down.CONS:No bin liner specifically for this shredderWhen the bin starts to get full, shred falls to the back and behind the bin is a mess that needs to be cleaned upI started using 20-gallon trash bags except all the little pieces of plastic will rip the bag and I end up with shred everywhere. I suggest doubling the bag if you want a liner.

The media could not be loaded.  The auto feed is a game changer!!! Set 300+ pieces into the auto feed chamber and let it work while you finish your work. Some main Pros:-Staples and paper clips can go through.- It doesn’t get overheated as previous shredders I’ve had do.-Big bin capacity so you don’t have to empty too often.-No programming, super easy to use.-Quiet for being as big as it is.Overall would definitely recommend this!

It works wonderful at the beginning, then starts making loud noises and it won't shred the papers

This unit had all of the cons and none of the pros of other comparable units. The size of the finished shredded material was much larger than other units which are much cheaper and it was one of the slowest but most expensive units I tried. Here are my observations. There is a design flaw in this “set it and forget it” machine. The shredders are in the middle of the platform meaning the machine sucks in document and shreds it so whatever the size of the document it’s doubled when it goes through the shredder. Good news much better reversing and trying to correct the problem than some other shredders I’ve used; bad news if you want this shredder to work on high volume invest in some good needle nose pliers and remove the staples from your documents. I gave up any document thicker than 4 pages caused jams. Finally it was better with thick documents that are manually fed. All in all 150 pages but 150 maddening pages. Really slow…save money if you want a better result and don’t mind picking out staples and clearing the bottom of the machine—purchase the Amazon Basic 150 page model.

Since I've been working at home, paperwork from my job and other projects have been piling up. I had a small paper shredder and was looking for something bigger. I came across this GBC Paper Shredder about a month ago and here are my pros and cons.Pros:1. The BIGGEST feature I love about this paper shredder is now I do not have to worry about taking the staples or paper clips off of paper when I want to shred. Before I would have to rip off the corners of papers that were staple together or go through papers and remove paper clips and now I do not have to! I absolutely love this.2. The 2nd biggest feature I love about this paper shredder is now instead of having to shred pieces of paper five at a time I can now just accumulate a stack of paper and drop it in and it will shred it on its own. I no longer have to sit back and wait.3. This paper shredder is quiet. I was not expecting it to be as quiet as it is.4. This paper shredder cross cut everything! Utilizing this paper shredder, I can tell you that you will not have to worry about anyone being able to piece together what you have shredded. I would always advise getting a crosscut paper shredder over just a regular shredder5. With my old paper shredder after I used it for about five or 10 minutes I would have to wait at least 20 to 30 minutes for it to cool down. This actually has a center on it that tells you when the paper shredder is warming up and it completely takes the guessing out of if I should stop or if I should keep going.6. This GBC Paper Shredder is super easy to use. All you do is plug in the power cable and flip the power switch on in the back and you are good to go. There is zero programming and having to download software.7. I really love how deep the bin is. Unlike your small typical paper shredder been this one holds up to 11 pounds of paper. I could literally use this paper shredder for months before having the dump it. I added a picture to show how deep it was so I hope the pitcher helps.8. The price is a bit steep but if you want a paper shredder that is going to last and do the things that this GBC Paper Shredder can do, it is totally worth of moneyCons:1. It is really large. I added a picture to show with a tape measure that it stands 2ft tall. Being 2ft, it's not a paper shredder that you can easily fit under your desk. THIS IS NOT AN ISSUE at all, but I just wanted to point it out so if you are looking for a paper shredder to go under your desk, this might not work unless your desk is tall.Overall, I would highly recommend this. I am definitely giving it a 5***** star rating and would highly recommend it, especially if you are looking for a paper shredder that is going to save you time and protect the things that you are shredding.

Tritura automaticamente el papel que colocas en la bandeja , de manera silenciosa , tritura facilmente con grapas. Me encanto. Tambien trae para insertar el papel de manera manual.

Estaba muy ilusionada con el automático de esta trituradora, pero desgraciadamente constantemente te pide que acomodes las hojas, parándose y mandando una alerta, así que resulta más rápido usar el alimentador manual. Una característica que valoramos mucho es que es bastante menos ruidosa que otras.
