Great tool if your hydro flask handle comes off
The handle of my daughter's hydroflask came off during a field hockey practice. We tried to get it back on ourselves with no luck. Found this nifty tool on Amazon and purchased. 1, 2 ,3 and my daughter had the handle right back down. While you may not need this tool alot it was very handy and I didn't have to but a new lid for her hydro. Plus we have quite a few of these bottles and now I don't have to worry if it happens again.

Strap change out
I used to change out my strap color. Bought a customized water bottle & liked the black strap on white lid. My new lid has a built in straw/sip for car but strap was white. Worked perfectly. Now can change out any time. :)

Works perfectly
This works really well, just wish it wasn’t so expensive. I was able to quickly remove and replace my handle and put it on my new lid.

A scrap of string does the same job.
I used it to move the brightly colored straps from my old hydroflask lids to the new ones which, while better, only come in black which is hard to see in the dark. The piece for removal just stretches out the hole more than just folding the strap in half over the button and pulling down, and the string to put the new strap on is no more functional than a scrap of kitchen twine I had lying around. It is the first hydroflask product I regret purchasing.

Tricky at first but works well
Getting this tool, my hands, and the lid all on the same page was a bit tricky at first. Once I got the hang of it (watch the video if you’re having issues), it was still a little tricky for this uncoordinated person but manageable. Swapped my original for one band, decided I wanted a different color and immediately swapped it again. First try was frustrating, by the second I felt like a pro. Useful tool. I wrapped the string around my extra straps so I can easily find them with the tool next time I feel like swapping them out again.

Mighty little tool
This tool isn’t 100% needed for removal and assembly, but it does make the job mighty easy. Really you just plop off a side of the old strap. Feed the cables through and pull for the new strap. I attached a video so you can see how it’s done. Great tool that made my hydroflask look even better.
