It works!
Have used Defender before. The last one ceased to work, but I had been using it for four years so not bad for an reasonably inexpensive piece of kit.

Great signal blocker
My daughters school has decided that every student has to download a blackout app that will stop the students using apps they feel are unnecessary, even if you're off school this app will still be working unless you manually disable it. And the school will be notified of this. They will also be notified what apps you do go on. They say they don't take personal data, but I'm not prepared to risk it. Another parent had the great idea of a signal blocker. It works great. Well so far the school haven't detected she has a phone on her anyway. We have discovered that Pokemon Go's notifications do still get through ( something about them being on a timer ) so she had to turn those off and all has been good so far
