My husband laughed... until he tried them!
Probably like many others, I found my way to these glasses after seeing a picture of them and thinking it was a bit of a joke. But I have chronic neck and shoulder issues, so reading a book (my favorite thing to do) became an exercise in how often I could shift positions before I finally had to give it up. These are a game changer. I can lay in bed and read a book and never worry about my arm getting tired (because it's not holding anything up) or worry about a crick in my neck from propping my head up on a pillow, or any of the other things that come from holding an object in front of your face for hours on end. Because I'm laying down when I use these, I haven't had any issues with the comfort of these... when they're just resting against my nose and forehead, there's no discomfort and I don't really feel the weight of the glasses. In fact, I've fallen asleep multiple times while wearing these, and didn't really remember I had them on until I tried to sit up. They do leave a mark on my forehead though... My husband also thought they were silly, but he just tried them out and had to tell me how amazing and fantastic they are. He says he can actually see better through these glasses than without them. He normally wears glasses, but doesn't need to double up when he's wearing these - he can see just fine :) My guess is because the reflection that he's viewing is just inches from his eyes, instead of a few feet away. About the only thing I could wish for these glasses is that they came with a case. If you pick them up wrong, you'll get fingerprint smudges on the prisms, which can be irritating.

perfect glasses when reading or using your laptop. Keeps your head upright and level.
Love these lazy readers, they are perfect for keeping good posture while reading or working on your laptop computer. These glasses allow you to keep your head upright and looking forward, instead of bending at the neck to look down. If you are reading a book you no longer have to look down or raise the book up to your face to read. Same goes for your laptop. Or if your TV is wall mounted and you are laying in bed you can just put the glasses on and watch tv without having to prop your head on a pillow. It has saved me from all the neck and upper back strain. This particular model is handy as itโs a bit bigger and can accommodate your eyeglasses, and has bigger prism lenses. In the the two days that i have been using this, my back pain is much less. Takes just minutes to get used to it. But should come with a warning like the side car mirrors, โobjects in mirror are closer than they appear.

Works great, a little on the heavy side
I bought these glasses so that I could watch TV while laying on my back in bed. Generally with a pillow but also flat on the mattress without a pillow. They work perfectly in both cases. The TV is sharp and bright and I can see all of the details while watching a football game and read any and all text that appears on the screen. It's a 40" TV about 10 feet away. I have typical glasses as worn by most people over 40 years old. They are trifocals (but they could also be single lens glasses or progressives) and they work as expected. I watch TV by positioning my head such that I am looking through the top of my glasses. If I am holding the remote and want to see the buttons I hold the remote in a position so that I am viewing through the bottom of my glasses. In other words, everything works like it should. At no time is it necessary to remove the prisms. I can also grab my phone and read any texts that may come in from my sons regarding action during the football game. All while not removing the prisms. These prism glasses fit perfectly around my regular frames. As you can see from the photos my frames are about 5-1/4" wide. I suspect that if they were just a small amount wider the prism glasses might not fit correctly. Your mileage may vary. Now for the not so good news. At 2.94 ounces (83.4 grams) they are pretty heavy. In my experience over the past month I am fine for about 30 minutes of continuous use and then I need to remove the prisms and change to a sitting position with my back on the headboard. After about 10 minutes I can change positions and use the prisms again. Rinse and repeat. As above, your mileage may vary. I did try purchasing 2 advertised lighter weight prism glasses to see if they were lighter. They were indeed much lighter in weight but they would not fit around my glasses. Not even close. We kept one of them and my wife is using them as she is able to see reasonably well without her prescription glasses. Not for reading in bed but to watch TV or watch a video on her iPad. Not her phone, however.

Got one as a gift, tried it, then got myself one
I originally got this as a Christmas gift for a friend, and when it came I tried it on for fun, but I ended up really liking them. I watched an entire movie with them on then went back and bought one for myself. The image is clear, and it saves me a lot of neck and back pain since I can lie completely flat to watch. They are on the heavier side so if I wear them for too long they leave a little mark against my skin. But, if you tend to get carsick easily, I wouldn't recommend these. As long as I'm lying still I'm okay, but if I twist and turn too much, I start to get a headache.

great idea, sadly too heavy to get used to on my face
they did fit over my regular glasses, though if you have large frames/lenses you may have difficulty with the fit sadly they were much too heavy to wear/use comfortably and get used to on my face

They work surprisingly well!
Itโs a great solution for 1st world problems lol We got a new bed and we couldnโt change the position of the tv, and the angle was causing neck pain and discomfort. I initially thought the glasses were gimmicky and wouldnโt work that well, but I was proven wrong! I can watch tv or read a book in bed without straining my neck! Iโve noticed my posture feels better b/c Iโm no longer hunched over or in a weird position. Wearing them feels like Iโm using a VR headset. Cons: my eyes do feel tired more quickly, so Iโm unsure if I will get used to it or will atop using them b/c of this. They are also slightly too heavy, and are a little uncomfortable on my nose. They have left marks on my nose when I wear them for a little while.

So Cool!
As you can see in the picture, these are 100% guaranteed to make you look like an idiot. HOWEVER, lie down in bed and watch TV with them for a bit and they will change your life. Bye bye neck cramping and having to prop yourself up! Works so good, and a very clear image too. There are real prisms in these, so there's a little bit of weight to em. Not a big deal when your heads on the pillow! ๐ All in all, this might just be the best thing I've ever bought on Amazon. WORTH EVERY PENNY. Get a pair! Do it now!

Disappointed
I LOVE reading in bed so was super excited to try these because I was starting to get neck pain from looking down at my book (or sore arms from holding my book up!). I was pretty disappointed. First, they are pretty heavy, so even wearing them laying down is uncomfortable on the bridge of my nose. Second, the lenses were too close together so I felt like I had to cross my eyes to get the right view. Third, I wish they were adjustable up and down depending on the angle you're laying. I had to lay completely flat to use them - if I used a pillow they were pointing too far down and I found myself tilting my head up to be able to see the book I was reading. Fourth, the bridge in the middle is visible when you're using them, so you can see a black line straight down the middle. Between how close together the lenses were and the black line in the middle, my eyes were straining after a few minutes. And, you can't wear these with normal glasses, they're too heavy/bulky. Finally, one of the lenses popped out after a couple of uses - was held in with a dab of glue. Don't recommend this brand...find something lighter weight and adjustable.

A Hilarious Twist on Comfort!
I recently gifted the Vinmax Prism Spectacles to my sister, and let me tell you, it was an instant hit! As a lover of quirky gadgets, she couldn't stop laughing when she unwrapped this unique treasure. Now, onto the fun part: these glasses are a game-changer for anyone who loves to read or watch TV while laying down. The 90-degree prism design allows you to comfortably view the screen or pages without straining your neck. It's like having your own personal cinema or library right in bed! The build quality is surprisingly sturdy, considering how lightweight they are. But let's be real, the best part about these glasses is the sheer entertainment value. Watching my sister try them on for the first time was priceless, and it's become a hilarious talking point whenever guests come over. In conclusion, if you're looking for a perfect funny gift that also serves a practical purpose, look no further than the Vinmax Prism Spectacles. They're sure to bring laughter and comfort to anyone lucky enough to receive them. Trust me, you won't regret it!

Too heavy
The clarity and view is nice and the product does indeed look very sturdy. But it is a whopping 100g in weight. For a large sized adult it might be alright but not for my petite head and neck. Not sure why it says 9 g on the dimensions โฆ.

Good, but a little heavy
The product arrived in perfect condition. The only issue I see is that they are a little too heavy (I mean they do seem to have actual mirrors built in so..) but I have to wear them a little more to test it. I have a feeing that the plastic material of these glasses (which is a little cheap) might rub against my nose weird, as they feel like they don't sit that comfortably on my nose (I do have a large nose though). Overall they work for what you need them to, they just might not be something you want to wear all day.
