100% Guarantee alive on arrival only. We cannot guarantee after that due to un controllable of your aquarium condition are very. Please read care instruction. Nerite snails are widely believed to be the single best snail in the aquarium hobby for eating algae. They are totally safe with any fish, shrimp, or plants, and are completely peaceful. Nerite snails require salt water to reproduce, so they will never overpopulate your aquarium (as some freshwater snails are known to do). Tiger nerite snails range from 1/2 to 1 inch in size. They usually will remain around 1 inch throughout their lifespan, but the occasional snail will reach 1 1/2 inches! They do not eat plants (only algae), so they are perfectly suitable for planted tanks. RECOMMENDED TANK PARAMETERS: - PH level range: 6.5 to 8.5 - Temperature range: 65 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit - Water type: Medium hard - Recommended Aquatic Arts tank mates: Other types of snails (other Nerite snails, Mystery Snails, Sulawesi Snails, etc.), dwarf shrimp (such as Blue Velvet shrimp, Sakura Fire Red Cherry Shrimp, Neon Yellow Shrimp, etc.). They can also be kept with small to medium-sized, non-aggressive fish. - Additional notes: With all nerite snails, it's a good idea to make sure the water line in your aquarium isn't too high, as these snails tend to climb up beyond the water line. Nerite snails do not tolerate water with high nitrate levels. Snails are very sensitive to copper, so watch out for copper if you use tap water in your tank

Better on second try
I honestly wasn't sure about shipping snails to myself, but I couldn't find any in the stores around me. I ordered these with reservations and paid twice the price of the snails for express shipping so they wouldn't have to be in transit too long. They shipped 8/15 and arrived 8/17, so that was great. They also shipped an extra snail - I ordered 3 and got 4, great. Awesome.I'm not an idiot - I've owned fish for a long time, and have never lost one after the acclimatization process other than one pleco that wasn't quite right from the start (likely had neurological issues). I acclimatized them properly, using the drip process that is recommended for them. I then placed the four of them gently in the tanks, two in one and two in another. Both tanks have been cycled for several months, no issues with water quality. I left them be for a day or two, waiting for the same thing I saw with my mystery snails - a day or so of playing dead, then starting to move as they realize they're not getting bounced around anymore. Well, they never moved. I did the sniff test with them today and realized they're all dead. ALL FOUR. You cannot mistake that smell. I'm really disappointed and will likely never order live animals online again. There is ZERO reason all four should be dead in 2 days.Edit 10/2/18: I have received replacements for the 4 original snails. The new guys arrived obviously alive and well. These are definitely much better and are now happily scooting around my 10 gallon planted betta tank. Much better! Thanks for the replacements!

Great algae control
Great little snails.these guys eat algae like no other...the problem is that they do such a good job...and the they run out of their food source....I find that putting in less than you think is the way to go...this way new algae can form and continue the food source for the snail...because from past experience if they get rid of all the algae...they will die because I have not seen them eat anything that I supplement for them

Snails with personality, but that won't take over your tank. SMART SNAILS. SMART SELLER!
Packed with Love and Precision from seller. Obviously care for the quality they send. They even sent an extra one and all were well. I would certainly give them future business. These Nerites are AWESOME snails and will not take hostage of your tank, but rather, keep it clean.

Excellent!!!
Snails arrived in great shape. I was concerned at first, but after placing them in my aquarium they were already cruising around within 30 minutes or less just like Domino's pizza. Added bonus was that I ordered the 3-pack of these Tiger snails and Seven Sea Supply added a 4th one in the bag for free. Nice touch. THANK YOU!!!! Glad I got these from you guys specifically. Highly recommend these for anybody sitting on the fence about it. Love that they won't breed in freshwater and turn into an out of control pest population in your tank either. Simply excellent...A+

Great snails! Brown, not orange though.
Received four snails that came to life right away after adding to fish tank. Was only expecting three. The snails are great for cleaning up algae. The tank went from green to clean in about two or three days. Now that the algae's all gone, I'm worried they'll starve. I'll have to look into snail food. The only reason I'm giving these a four and not a five is that they're brown, not a pretty orange like the picture.

Great Snails
These little guys are fantastic! No more bottles of algae reducer that never work. I put three nerite snails in my 10 gallon tank that was crusted with algae. Within a week or so, the algae was gone. Best purchase in a long time. Take a chance. These snails handle the problem.

Worth it please do buy!!!!!
I was a little worried about them because it got really cold suddenly but when I received them I was ecstatic! I recieved 4 snails instead of 3 and all of them were moving in the next 20 minutes! The snails cane with a sample food and a pen which I liked even more! I definitely would recommend this product because nothing bad has come out of it and the snails are at a reasonable price!

Happy, Healthy Snails received - even got a bonus one!
I have had repeat success the two times I’ve ordered snails from this company! Who would have ever thought I’d be ordering snails, but having gotten involved with owning goldfish, I have found that a responsible fish owner stays on top of aquarium cleanliness, and snails are great algae eaters. They really do help keep the algae levels down in my 50 gallon freshwater aquarium. So far, they haven’t reproduced, which is fine with me. I’m always excited to receive my “pet” snails (I’ve got 6 total now) and so far they’ve all made the trip and the transition to the aquarium quite well - and they seem to be relatively happy in their new abode. They even sent me an extra one - probably because two are on the small size - and I appreciate this, too!
