My mom got a shoulder heat-pack off this type and I was totally amazed! So I got some small ones to try. I wanted to get some that were easy to boil back to liquid. Anyway, this didn't crystallize on the first click but it did on the second, and it's warm! Not sure how long it will last, but if be happy with an hour or more.

The pouches have very little substance: 47g (1.6 oz) total weight and produce very little heat. Laughable at $3 a pop. Pouch material is extremely thin, filling welds are sloppy and carelessly made. First pouch immediately sprung a leak when re-charging in the microwave, relegating it to the trash can. So now I can not even return it to Amazon. $12 in the crapper. Live and learn.

These things are pretty neat and I didn't even know they existed until I watched the video online. I ended up getting them to try to keep my son's food warm and his lunch box. The only problem though is all the heat makes everything soggy in his lunch box. It's a pretty neat concept though, there is like this metal thing inside of that and you click it and it makes the whole thing turns solid and warm. Then when you're done using it you put it in a pan on top of like a washcloth or something and boil it for 5 minutes and it goes back to being liquid until you're ready to use it again. Very interesting product and it does what it says I just couldn't use it for what I wanted.

The packs were covered in a gritty substance. After washing, one click did not activate them. I read you have to click them back and forth the activate. They were warm and soft for about 5-10 mins, then started to firm up and cool down. By 15 mins they are almost cool, barely warm. They are completely cool by 20 mins. May work well to hold on your eye for a stye, but doesn’t stay warm enough for other uses.

Work very well inside my gloves. They last about 45 minutes to an hour.

I have gotten the same experience as many other reviewers have mentioned. They don't stay warm for very long at all. I would estimate the useful heating time to be about 15 minutes only. After that, technically they do stay warmer than room temperature for an hour or more, but the difference is so small that it doesn't really help as a hand warmer. I have also had difficulties getting the reaction to start. A couple of them would not start after flexing the metal piece. It took 10 minutes of repeated attempts and flexing from different angles, positions, speeds, etc. to finally get the last one to work.

Me encantan, calientan demasiado, debería durar más tiempo el calor, pero son súper buenos. Ayudan para la inflamación, dolor muscular, calentarte las manos.

Very poor quality had real difficulties getting 3 of 4 to even work. Then when they did work they only last for about 45 minutes. Buyer Beware!
