I got these to replace my burnt out bulbs in my living room. My first impression is that the lights are light weight and bright. The popped into my existing light cans easily and without issue. The color switch on the back is great. No need to guess what color mine are. The plastic material on the housing isn’t that thick but it seems quality made. The size matched my existing ones nicely. It’s a great value for the money compared to the big box stores that want 2-3 times this amount. My only complaint is that the housings took some playing with to get them to sit flat against the ceiling. It still left a tiny gap between the light and ceiling. Bought these to replace a bunch of screw in recessed light fixtures in our kitchen. Given the price point I wasn't expecting a lot from a quality/brightness standpoint since they worked out to be less than $4 per fixture which is probably close to the price per LED bulb I was using previously. I was definitely pleasantly surprised by the actual product. Installation was a breeze. While the housings are made of plastic, they fit perfectly into my existing ceiling holes with provided springs and did not have any unseemly gaps. Having the ability to choose the light temperature is a plus. I've had them installed for a few months now without any issues. They turn on immediately and have no flickering.

Excellent lighting ! Easy installation in my existing Halo recessed light cans. The ability to set what shade of light is awesome, everything from very warm to very cool settings. Zero noise but I’m not using it with a dimmer so I can’t speak to that.

I tried to install them and ensure they are not leaving a gap but they have flimsy to make them stay. If you care about details, you might want to think about it. I’m not sure about the functionality of changing colors in f you can not access the non easily after installing. Otherwise they are ok. Revised review I realized I was installing them wrong. They are actually easy to install and they firmly fit in. I apologize for giving wrong impression. If you are looking to upgrade your old recessed lights, these are a good alternative. What I would have want to have though is more power efficient options. 13.5 watts per bulb of their lighting is alit at this age of efficient lighting.

I purchased an earlier version of this light, and it fit into the H7 cans nice and tight up against the drywall. These newer designs changed the way that the springs attach to the trim, and the trim piece can no longer snug up tight to the drywall. The manufacturer emailed me to suggest that I try rotating or bending the springs so that they work with my fixtures, but after fiddling with it quite a bit, I can't find a way to make it work. Math keeps getting in the way! The issue is that the trim is sized so that it can work in a 5" or 6" can, and in order to make that work, the trim itself is much less than 6" in diameter. As a result, where the springs attach to the trim in the new design, they are somewhere between 4-5" apart. The c-clips in the can are more like 6" apart. When the trim is pushed up into the can, that 1" difference in diameter begins to force the spring to make an angle between the can and the trim. By the time the trim is pushed in as far as it can go, the angle needed between the can and the trim is too steep to allow the springs to fully pull the trim up. It fights against it. The old design had little adjustable mounts for the springs, and you could extend the springs away from the trim itself so that there was less of an angle to overcome. Worked really well. The manufacturer tells me they changed the design (probably to save money, now there are fewer parts), and that I should just try bending the springs. There appears to be no way to do that and at the same time have the spring do the job it needs to do. I am going to have to find a way to bend or remount the c-clips inside my cans to make it seem more like a 5" can. I have no idea if these will work with other recessed cans, but they aren't going to work for you if you have the 6" H7 cans from Home Depot.

Came a day early and I had all 12 up and installed in 1/2 hour. I love how I can change the brightness. I am pretty handy with my hands so I was able to tighten the spring arms a little tighter making it a snug fit. I will be buying more just to have spares.

These are great so far and the different temperatures (colours) are really good, you can totally match to regular light bulbs if you like. Only complaint is the diameter of the light is a tiny bit too small, if your cutout is not perfect these do not have enough extra diameter to cover so some of the cutout might be visible.
