most these watches take the 377 cell battery, renata are the best brand but energizer is good and have a long shelf life if you want to buy extras. You can get 5 on amazon for under $5 if you shop with free prime shipping if your a member.

Very average and overpriced.

The hands do not stay luminous for more than a few minutes at night. The strap is terribly itchy , and I had to replace it with a leather one within a day.Overpriced, for a watch which promised a lot. The only positive is the 24 hour markings on the dial.
