Good value for money
Good little charger and good value. Comes with sealed 10 amp plug. Battery 7.5v fully charged in two hours.

Perfect for my old but excellent movie camera that has cal zies lens .

Dangerous plug
While the charger seems to work OK, the supplied mains lead has an unfused 13A plug on it. As far as I am aware they are not legal to use, or even if legal, they present quite a danger. I have thrown mine away, and I am using a known good, properly fused, "figure of eight" plug and lead instead.

Works great for my Sony FDR-AX100 batteries.
I have a Sony FDR-AX100 camcorder with only one original Sony battery and four 3rd party batteries. While the camera is designed to charge the battery that’s in it, when connected to the camera’s power supply. My camera no longer charges three of the 3rd party batteries. However, this battery charger does charge the three batteries that my camcorder won’t. It also charges them quicker than they used to charge when they were charging on the camcorder. I know many people frown upon using 3rd party batteries, which I usually do myself when the batteries are concealed inside a camera/camcorder as they can swell and cause damage. However, my camcorder has the batteries clip on at the rear and so no issue with potential swelling of the batteries inside the camcorder. So, as you can see, this battery charger has been great for me and has essentially brought three of my high capacity 3rd party batteries back into the equation. I have no idea why my camcorder stopped charging these batteries in the first place, they weren’t damaged and had not been dropped, as my camcorder is in a fixed studio position on a tripod. But none the less, this battery charger has been great for me and I’m well more than happy with it.

Does not work and sparks when charging
Would not reccomend, first time trying to charge with it and it started sparking and crackling , would only charge if cable was in a exact position and was complelty unsafe
