ESR for MagSafe Wallet with Adjustable Stand, 3 Card Holder

I've been using the wallet for about a couple weeks now and am really impressed! I've been through about 5 different types of wallets, card holders, and magsafe compatible products over the past year trying to find the right one and this one checks almost every box! Initially I was hesitant on purchasing this wallet because I didn't think the hinge would work as well as I had hoped and that the wallet would constantly flop around when taking my phone out of my pocket. So far, the hinge has held up really well and is solid! The magnet on the back is strong enough that it's not sliding off my phone in case it gets hung up on my pocket or even sliding around when I'm trying to take cards out of the wallet. I actually really love the design and multi-purpose functionality of the wallet. I've struggled with typical magsafe card holders because they never seem to hold their shape and the cards seem to always come loose and slip out. I love the ID window card slot for my ID and the fact that I can hold more than two cards! I'm currently carrying five cards in the wallet with no issues at all. The wallet does add some bulk to a phone if you're using the magsafe feature, but it's great to have the ability to quickly slap it on the back of the phone and have all of my things safely tucked away in my pocket, or to take the wallet off and utilize it as a minimalistic, slim wall separate from my phone. Between the virtual cards on my phone and physical cards in the wallet, I'm able to carry every rewards card, debit, credit, and ID card I NEED to have on me. Having recently traveled internationally with the wallet, it was great to really carry a minimal amount of items securely, and not having to lug around my previous (much thicker) wallet. The only compromise I had to make was to also carry around a money clip for the cash needed while traveling, but I also understand if one was added inside the wallet, the bulk would increase considerably and the functionality would be lost. Overall, the wallet seems to be holding up nicely and my constant testing of the hinge hasn't cause it to lose any tension at all! Really happy with it and I'm ecstatic to get away from a George Costanza wallet with something I've found so functional!

EDIT! READ BOTTOM!: I was searching for a MagSafe wallet for a while. I came across a good amount of videos that had ESR @ the top of multiple “best magsafe wallet” lists. I was skeptical on the quantity of cards it was going to hold due to some vids saying 3 cards max. I feel that with the quality of the material it can hold 5/6 cards easily. The material itself is a like leather , still feels nice , smooth , reliable! Also has a built in phone stand that you can use your phone vertically or landscape for videos. The hinge for it feels very well made. not floppy , no play or wiggling when you put it in your preferred angle. I seen a lot of people also worried about the Magnetic hold it has to your phone. I use it with a case. For my “TEST” i held the wallet a little while open @ a 90° and started throwing my arm around…. The wallet stayed on the phone… it’s a strong connection. Product good. Company’s good. Everything good 👍🏼 5 Star would buy again Purchased 10/18/24 , This note is from 12/19/25 1 year and 2 months later! THIS PRODUCT IS AMAZING! I have used it everyday since , it originally was advertised as a 3-4 car holder i think. what i saw from youtube reviews and such. but i COMFORTABLY fit 4 in the face pocket , 2 buisness cards and 1 card in the inner and my Id in the clear spot. The magnetic hold to magsafe is still as strong as the say i bought it and the hinge to keep it closed is too. ESR did a quality job with this product. Coming from someone who beats their products this is very durable. oh did i mention it fell out at over 30mph and it’s only stiff was the little one on the front?

Edit 2: 4 stars. The ESR folks reached out to me, apologized for my experience and offered to send me another wallet stand. At that point I had already ordered another brand, which failed similarly and quickly, so I accepted. This time I took even more caution with it, and it held up very nicely for more than 7 months before the hinge broke. I've now tried 3 different brands, and the ESR is definitely the best of them. I've come to accept that these are simply not designed to last as long as the phone, and as thin as we want them I don't think they can be. As long as you treat it carefully and set your expectation that it's like a perishable item - it's not going to last forever and the price is quite reasonable - the ESR is an excellent product. ESR also gets an A+ for customer service, which is rare. Edit: From 5 stars to 2. This wallet stand broke at the hinge after 3 months. Because it's no good when broken, I cut it open to see where it failed, and there are two small pins in the hinge that broke. I decided that I might have abused it. You cannot torque on the back side when you rotate the stand; it puts too much pressure on the hinge pins. So I bought another, and this time I babied it. I was very careful to rotate the base, and not the flap. Unfortunately, the pins broke again, just a couple of months later, and now the stand does not work. It's just a magnetic wallet with a floppy back side. Very disappointed. It's a unique design with terrific promise, but they need to figure out how to keep those pins from breaking. Hahhh! They FINALLY made the perfect phone wallet! Item: this is NOT limited to iphone cases. You can now get mag-safe cases for your Android (my Galaxy 23+). And they are awesome - I'll be leaving a review on that as well. My phone case accessory needs: something that makes it easy to hold the phone without gripping it, that also acts as a stand both vertically and horizontally, and holds my door swipe badge for work. Your basic pop socket fills the first just fine, and does a decent job as a stand horizontally but not so much vertically, and there's no badge/credit card holder. I had a nice little wallet on my last phone that did the trick, but there was no way to securely attach a pop socket or other decent stand. This wallet does it all, and more. It holds the badge in the perfect position for swiping without having to take it out - just wave the phone and open the door. It has a little pocket for hiding an emergency cash stash, and another to store your ID. Unlike my kids, I'm not going to ditch my traditional pocket wallet for this, but it could easily be done. As a stand, it's the best I've ever seen. It's as good as any for holding the phone without having to grip the case from both sides. Endlessly adjustable, it holds the phone securely both vertically and horizontally. And then there's the magnet, which holds to the case with remarkable strength, but is also easily removed so you can take advantage of the case's remote charging capability - something I was never able to do with my previous phone case. It is a tad bulky; I don't mind, but I imagine ladies will also appreciate being able to pop it one and off to slip the phone into a tight pocket or other tight place. It is, finally, the perfect phone case accessory.

This is the greatest magnetic wallet ever made. For the price point- you can’t beat it. On my 2nd but the first lasted a few years before the hint got a little faulty. A+ for sure. Tried others. This is the one.

Okay, this is my initial review of the ESR wallet. Currently I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max with an Apple leather case and wallet and my only complaint about the Apple wallet is that it isn’t very convenient getting the cards out because you have to use two hands to separate the wallet from the phone and the use the open slot to push out the cards. It is almost impossible to get the cards out by pulling them out. The design of the ESR wallet stand has an exposed section at the bottom of the front to push the card, or cards, up without separating the wallet form the phone. The ESR wallet is new so it will take some time to stretch out and possibly allow more cards to be inserted. Only time will tell. It is about 1/3 thicker but I knew that going in. The hinge is very stiff and easily supports the phone at an angle to view the screen in portrait. If you find the right spot, you can attach the phone in landscape which holds very well. I’m impressed with the strength of the magnets. I usually carry three cards, two credit cards and a license, but I’d like room for another couple cards. Maybe this will stretch out to hold more, but I’m not sure it will hold less cards securely after that. Time will tell. Update: A couple things to think about. A. If you insert more than one card in a slot, it will stretch but not sure it will contract and hold a single card securely. Trying that out. B. Recently it has started to detach from my iPhone in my back Jean pocket. I am using the Apple leather case and if it continues I may have to switch to the ESR Halo case as the magnets are supposedly stronger. C. I’m starting to carry some cash and wish the inside of the hinge had a clip to hold cash. I realize that would bloat the thickness but if designed differently it could handle it.

The wallet stand very securely attaches to my Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max in it’s Apple clear Magsafe case. Build quality seems excellent too. The wallet does NOT obscure any of the camera lenses on my iPhone, which in spite of some other reviewer comments has not proven to be an issue. It also fits my spouse’s iPhone 13 equally well and the positioning and secure magnetic attachment is ideal. Again, no obscuring the cameras on either iPhone! The magnetic attachment is very strong to the degree that I could not even shake the phone loose while swinging the back of the wallet stand. That was my test snd it passed with flying colors! I’m 100% confident that it is attached securely and will not detach from the phone, and it stays put even when I pull the iPhone feom my pants pocket. So happy that it works as described. As a stand it performs perfectly whether the iPhone is attached to the iPhone in a horizontal or in a vertical orientation. The wallet hinge is very strong and adjustable over a wide range of angles to make viewing easy in any situation. This is a wow factor, as I primarily just wanted a simple wallet but the adjustable stand feature is so wonderful to have. It’s now hard to imagine going forward without the stand feature….it’s just that good! Card access works well for 4 cards. The slots are tight, so cards won’t slide out, but it is relatively easy to slide out the cards when needed too. Aesthetically it is a very attractive wallet. The vegan leather feels soft and has the texture of real leather too. Build quality seems excellent too. Assuming tgis product endures ongoing use, I will remain very pleased with it. Wow, no more bulky conventional wallet to carry! I think this is an excellent solution for anyone seeking a simple/minimal card carrying attachment along with the conveniences of the iPhone stand.

Love love love this product, bought it a couple years ago and they updated the look and hinges. Couldn’t be happier with it!

I bought 2 of these. I liked mine so much I bought one for me and one for my 17 year old son. Mine working fine. Then hinge mechanism broke on my sons after about a week and had to be returned. I did keep mine as I had tried about a few different wallets and liked this the best. I have it on a Samsung Galaxy Ultra 23. The placing of it does cover the bottom camera lens but it does not seem to interfere with any pictures I have taken. It stays on the case well… unless you drop it. I have dropped the phone a few times and every time the wallet dislodged from the back. I like the slimness and look of the wallet. I also like using it as a stand for when I am watching videos or reading. You can use the wallet as a stand in both portrait and landscape mode. It hold 4 cards and a couple of bills without any problems. If it weren't for my son’s experience I would completely recommend it as of now. But he had his for a shorter time and the hinge mechanism broke which is a big minus.

To be clear I absolutely love this wallet! However.. Within a month I needed to add a second card to the inside card holder (not the clear plastic holder) to keep the first card from falling out. Which really is a bonus, except, 9 months later and I do have to worry about my cards falling out of it. Happened in San Diego, thankfully I noticed right a way, found them and didn't lose my Credit Card or Costco Card. Which would have sucked being on holiday. If it wouldn't add to the weight of it, I would say a strap could be put there. Right now I am using baby sized elastics, which break more often than not. I have noticed that the stitching has started coming out and the plastic/leather edging has come off. See 2nd Picture. As it is cosmetic it doesn't really matter except when you try to take photos with the wallet on, if you didn't cut that piece of stitching, guaranteed it would show up in a picture. Murphy's Law! Other than those issues, its great! The magnet is strong and very rarely have I knocked it off, maybe once or twice, (human error more than anything). It doesn't interfere with magnetic strips on cards, and it holds real well when watching a movie on the airplane. If you stick the stand part it in the documents holder on the plane and turn it horizontally on the magnet, you can watch anything. If you use your phone for those things. I have also used it for FaceTime when it was hung on my laptop monitor. Hands Free is the way forward! Update - 08/01/2023 ESR reached out to me regarding my wallet, and have now sent me a new one. When Theresa said she was going to do this, I had my doubts. She informed on on Jan 4, 2023 she was sending a new one out, it arrived yesterday while I was away. I got home today and I have already put my cards in the new one. I am so happy. I will update in 1 month as that is when my card started falling out. Best Customer Service ever!

Great design: strong magnet that holds the wallet securely to my accompanying ESR clear MagSafe case; strong hinge; can adapt the wallet to use as a stand either in portrait or landscape view - ie: attach upside down or sideways for more configurations; easy access to front loaded card holder with the area to finger push the card up - great for airport when NEXUS card is needed multiple times to be viewed in checkin and security process. Good quality of the material and stitching so far. Used heavily during my recent 2 wk trip.
