Be Quiet: the new standard in PS excellence.
The 1200W is well beyond meeting any load I'd task it to handle in my new build...but like a 550 horse power super car commute to work...it's awesome to know you got all that under the hood for the highway mergers at least. The Be Quiet name inspires confidence in operation, it is indeed very quiet. Basically any noise coming from your PS just does not exist anymore. It also seems extremely efficient in accomplishing this, 80 Plus Platinum indeed. I've used a variety of power supplies, from cheaper to more robust, Corsair mostly, etc....this one wins hands down for easy install, low temp/super quiet operation, even looks cool in my shroud as exposed. Solid solid solid build quality here...even the box is nice/worth keeping (btw thanks for the oversized industrial grade chassis mount screws). It's not the cheapest solution, but ultimately totally worth it.

Quiet! I can hear you knocking on my door
A very quiet PSU, and for the 3 months of daily use, this PSU does the job. It works very well in power delivery, and the installation in the be Quiet Dark Base Pro 900 Black Rev. 2 case was pretty simple. The fan stays on after shut down, if the temperature needs it to keep cooling the PSU. Just for a minute or two, after many hours of use. I keep my apartment cool (68^F), so the PSU stays pretty cool. This PSU has an overclocking feature, which I haven't has to need to use yet, but it's there. The switch for overclocking takes up one slot of PCI expansion ports, so not a big deal with the case that I have. This PSU does a tremendous job, and is the most quiet PSU that I've ever owned. My last custom PC build was in (Sept.2012), so this newer custom PC build (Dec.2020) has been a well needed upgrade for me. I'm very happy with the performance of this unit, and when I build my next custom PC in the future, I plan to use be Quiet again. Now, enjoy the smooth jazz with your favorite beverage.

Very quiet, finally my pc is comparable to a macbook
After using Macbook for quiet long, I became used to quiet PCs and couldn't tolerate the high noise of a normal windows desktop, especially when I am doing web surfing without a lot of demanding tasks. After replacing my desktop's Chassis fan and CPU fan with Noctua fans, I still hear loud noise all the time, but it wasn't from the Noctua fans, but the power supply fans Skytech installed on my desktop. It is funny that some power supply vendors call their power supply "super quiet", but the reality is they are very noisy. This is why I chose this "be quiet" power supply and it is extremely quiet, I can barely hear it even when I am playing games. For normal office tasks, I bet I can sleep with the PC running! Finally I got a PC that is comparable to a Macbook's noise level. However, it took me a lot of time to do researches to know what to pick and how to put everything together. I am wondering why no vendor seems to be interested to build a quiet PC for customers? Does this mean most people are OK with the noise?

Great product bad package delivery
Look I give this a 5 even though my experience sucked. It had nice rubber feat. The cords were a great length with great sleeves. The look was really nice. Had this cool looking OC mode switch that honestly just looked cool. It is a good efficiency and the price I paid was stellar. Their sata power cords are the 2nd best I have seen, but still not the best, but far from worst. I hate modern sata power cables genuinely 6 years ago they were made better.Sadly mine was shipped in its personal box and when I received it the box was split open and the power supply obviously took a banging. When it runs it makes a squeal and this is just sad to see. I do not blame Be Quiet and I did use it and did like it when I didn't hear the squeal, but that squeal made me uncomfortable incase it damaged power delivery.

Nice design. Loses one star for semi-modular vs. fully...and because I had to return it.
This seemed like a really well built supply. Nice finish, nice cables, quiet. But...when I turned it on or off, on occasion it would 'crackle' into action with a faint smell of ozone, making me think I had a bad switch. I worked it a few times hoping it would work itself out, no dice. In the end I returned during the initial return period, and unfortunately with PC part purchases in the time of Covid could not just get an exchange for the same thing. I went with another product but do kind of wish I could have kept this one. (Although the replacement I picked being fully modular will let me customize the 24-pin to the mobo, whereas on this one I'd have had to add an extension....)Sigh. You would have paired nicely with my limited edition Dark Base Pro 700 White case. You would. :(

Worth it 100%
I had an evga PSU and as everyone knows they are loud and overpriced. Even after water cooling I had a ton of noise. Came from the psu. It was so bad I put a a12x25 inside the psu. I thought why has no one done this? Someone had. Thats what this psu is. It screams premium from the unboxing all the way to usage. Best psu I've ever had! No regrets at all. Silent build complete!

Works perfectly and easy to set up
First time I work with a modular power supply. At first I was like ok what the heck am I looking at here. But once you get going, it is extremely easy to figure out. All cables are labeled and all entry ports on the PSU are as well. The cables are not as thick as my old psu, thus making it a lot easier to cable manage. So far, been using it for a few hours and I have to give it 5 stars... for now. This is a platinum rated PSU so I'm not expecting any malfunction, but you never know, gonna keep an eye out and update in case there's any issues. And one more thing, the way they packaged this PSU is wonderful, beQuiet really thinks about their customers, comes with a couple of things for cable management.... a few zip ties and Velcro straps.

High Quality Semi-Modular PSU
Very quiet with absolutely ZERO coil whine at all power draws (standby, low, and high wattage draw). I use cable extensions so semi modular is the same thing as fully modular.Note: This PSU is a bit longer than the 750W corsair it is replacing, which prevents me from putting 2 140mm fans at the bottom of Meshify S2 case.Shipping Note: The PSU was not shipped in a corrugated box, it was shipped in its base packaging. Everything appears to be in good condition, but just be aware of that when it arrives.
