Good quality, fast grinder for spices. Looks nice too.

Brilliant piece of kit. Its so much quieter than my old one. I find it useful for grinding my chia seeds, and stale sourdough to make breadcrumbs. I find it easy to clean with an old paintbrush, the brush it comes with is a bit small, I would recommend.

Good little gadget, super speedy ground beans. My only niggle is it isn't the easiest to fully clean the bean dust with the wispy brush it comes with!

Extremely happy with this device. We have all dealt with flimsy and let-down kitchen products/devices, but this is not one of them. This grinder is weighty and robust, a perfect compact size, has an easily variable grind consistency based on how long the beans are ground for, and has a firm locking mechanism to ensure the lid cannot fly off mid-grind. Excellent product.

A good little grinder-no complaints

This is so good. It crushes most of nuts too to perfect powder.

This is easy to use, there’s only one button and it gets the job done. I’ve ground coffee and seeds with no issues.

This little grinder is a powerhouse! Well worth the price, have had it for a couple years now and it seems to be as good as the day we got it. Have only ever used it for coffee beans, and have been pleased with it.

After the little tab that presses the On Switch of my old Black and Decker coffee grinder broke, I began looking for a replacement. The Same thing happened to another B & D coffee grinder about 5 years ago. I managed to repair the B & D grinder by drilling out the spot where the tab was and gluing in a small section of metal cut from a small Allen wrench. I don't think it's ever going to break again, but it's time to take it it out of active service and perhaps use it as a spice grinder. So I wanted a to find a grinder with a different mechanism to turn it on. The Dr. Mills caught my eye because of the button switch on the side. It seemed like it will be much less prone to failure. I'm impressed with the relative quietness of this grinder compared to my old one. It's very powerful as well. Using the old one with a full load of beans, I'd have to stop it and shake it, to redistribute the ground coffee so that I'd get a consistent grind, but it's not necessary to shake the Dr. Mills grinder. The coffee quickly swirls around in a spiral, insuring an even grind. The locking mechanism of the cover is also a nice feature. I thought it would be awkward to lock in place, but it's a good fit and easily slides closed,as it should! For what this little beast of a grinder cost, I couldn't be any more pleased with it!

Small and so powerful! Love grinding spices in it, the powder is so fine and smooth.

【購入のきっかけ・主な用途】 家庭菜園の土作りのために、普段ゴミになってしまう「卵の殻」や「茶殻」を細かく粉砕して自家製肥料（カルシウム補給や堆肥の材料）にしたくて購入しました。コーヒー用だけでなく「ドライスパイス（硬いもの）」も挽けるタフさと、丸洗いしやすそうな構造に惹かれて選びました。 【良かった点（メリット）】 硬い卵の殻が数秒でサラサラのパウダー状に！ 軽く天日干しした卵の殻を入れてスイッチを押したところ、ものの数秒で完全にサラサラのパウダー（粉末）状になりました。手やつぶし器で砕くのとは比較にならないほど細かくなるため、土に混ぜたときの分解・吸収が早くなりそうで大満足です。 SUS304ステンレス製でサビにくく頑丈 ブレード（刃）だけでなく、食材を入れるカップの内側もすべて高品質なSUS304ステンレス製です。乾燥させた茶殻などを挽く際、多少の湿気が残っていてもサビる心配がなく、ガシガシ使える安心感があります。 お手入れが簡単で衛生的 使用後は付属のブラシでさっと粉を払うだけで綺麗になります。ニオイ移りもしにくい素材なので、茶殻の後始末も楽です。（※本体を水洗いできない構造の場合は「水洗いできないので、固く絞った布等で拭いています」等に調整してください）。 コンパクトなのにパワー十分 出しっぱなしでも邪魔にならないサイズ感ですが、モーターのパワーが力強く、途中で引っかかることもなくスムーズに粉砕してくれます。 【気になった点・注意点】 「しっかり乾燥」させてから使うのがコツ 茶殻や卵の殻は、水分が残った生乾きの状態でグラインダーにかけると、中でペースト状にへばりついてしまい、細かく挽けなくなります。しっかり天日干しするか、レンジ等でカラカラに乾燥させてからスイッチを入れるのが、綺麗に粉末化する最大のコツです。 【総評】 本来のコーヒーやスパイス用途だけでなく、家庭菜園のコンポストや有機肥料作りをされている方には自信を持っておすすめしたい名品です。これのおかげで生ゴミが減り、畑の野菜も元気に育つという最高の好循環が生まれました！
