Works Excellent!! Must use in warmer climate
JB Weld has been my saver for all my Oopsies, works mint but do remember must use in a warmer climate. If it’s cold out it takes a lot longer to cure and do remember let it settle! Do Not apply and expect it to cure right away. I used this to hold crack manifolds to heating codes.

handles 400 degree solder
Use to restore a solder tab on a relay. It does the job. Strong enough to withstand togs and pulls on the soldered tab and I mean soldered tab!

J-B Weld High Heat Epoxy Syringe – Solid Fix for Fireplace Patch
I used this J-B Weld High Heat Epoxy Syringe to patch a small hole in the brick surround of my wood fireplace, and it got the job done well enough. The syringe design is handy—two-part epoxy (resin and hardener) mixes right as you push it out, so no messy stirring. I had a pea-sized hole from a chipped brick, and the dark grey color blended decently with the soot-stained area, though it’s not an exact match to fresh brick.Application was simple: cleaned the spot, squeezed out a dab, smoothed it with a putty knife, and let it cure. It’s rated for 500°F continuous (600°F short-term), which fits my fireplace temps—usually around 400°F near the surround. After a week of daily fires, the patch is holding strong—no cracks or crumbling, and it feels rock-solid. The 0.7 oz size was plenty for my small fix, with some left over. It’s not perfect, though. The cure time took the full 24 hours to feel fully hard (set in about an hour), so patience is key. Also, it’s a bit thick to work with—great for filling, less so for super-fine cracks. Compared to a basic heat-resistant caulk I’ve tried, this epoxy feels tougher and more permanent, though it’s overkill for non-structural stuff. For high-heat repairs like fireplace patches, it’s a reliable pick. I’d give it 4 stars—works as promised, but the thickness and cure time temper the ‘wow’ factor. Good for small, durable fixes!

Easy Fix for Cracked Chimineas (and More!)
I'm really impressed with the J-B Weld High Heat Epoxy Syringe. Fixing cracks can be a hassle, especially when you need something to hold up to high heat. This epoxy syringe made the whole process so much easier. The One-Step Syringe is a Game Changer - Forget messy mixing and imprecise measuring! The one-step syringe design is genius. Just dispense equal parts of the epoxy from the dual plungers and you're good to go. No mess, no fuss, and no chance of messing up the ratio. The epoxy sets up in about an hour at room temperature, and cures completely in 24 hours. That's plenty fast for most repairs. But the real winner here is the heat resistance. I used it to fix a crack in my chiminea, and it's held up perfectly through the first few fires.I'll definitely update this review after I've used the chiminea for a longer period, but so far, I'm very happy with the J-B Weld High Heat Epoxy Syringe. It's easy to use, bonds like crazy, and can take the heat. Highly recommend!

Fixed my beloved but broken fancy kettle
I love my high-end Le Creuset kettle, but somehow or other I broke the whistle spout. The maker said that it couldn't be repaired and they don't sell replacement parts. After a bit of research, I realized that regular super glue or contact cement probably wouldn't hold up to the heat, so I decided to try this.It was a bit messy because the two sides of the whistle were both irregular shapes and so clamping was out of the question and I mixed up way more of this glue than needed. After pressing the parts together I carefully balanced the whistle and after a few hours cleaned up the excess that squeezed out. Then left it overnight to cure. It wasn't at all clear to me that it would hold so I left it sitting there for another day. Then yesterday I picked it up and tried to pull it apart, but couldn't. Then I installed it back on the kettle and heated the kettle several times. Then opened and closed the spout not carefully to see if it would hold. It did. This glue saved my $120 kettle. I'm a believer.
