This is a great head and body razor.
First off, this razor is great quality. Along with a lifetime limited warranty on any part failure it really is a razor that will last your whole life. I have shaved my head for ten years at least and when I say I have tried just about every razor under the sun, I mean every cartridge razor from shick, gillete, dollar shave, Harry's etc (including weird ones like the head blade atv and pit bull electric rotaory head shavers). I mean merkur, Parker and every other major player in the DE razor space, and this one is my absolute favorite non cartridge razor for my head. It's incredibly efficient because of its three blades. I can shave my head with this almost as fast as a regular cartridge razor, and with the right blades in this thing it shaves closer than my gillete cartridges. I recommend Astra greens or voskhods if you are just starting out because they have a Teflon coating to help but they aren't the sharpest blades for the closest shave. If you are a veteran to saftey razors I'd use bic chrome platinum or feather blades to get a BBS shave but they will slice you up still if you arent careful as both of those blades are very, very sharp. My girlfriend also tells me it is excellent for her legs and arm pits because as I said it's very efficient and the tilting head and large surface area help her get done very quickly with a really smooth shave. The one place this razor suffers is around delicate features like the ear and doing line work like sideburns and jaw line IF you have a beard. For a regular smooth face shave it works just fine except it's a little tricky to do the upper lip, again just because of the size of the head on the razor. I own a high proof razor and a henson razor that I prefer both of those for my detail work for this purpose because they are smaller heads and can get in tighter spaces. My girlfriend also prefers the high proof razor (because it is a single blade smaller head similar tilting design to the leaf) for her private area over the leaf, due to size of the head and again it being harder to work into small spaces. That being said both of those razors are similarly priced, the high proof a little more, the henson a little less, and I'd still choose the leaf if I had to keep just one. There is a little bit of a learning curve but that's true for all saftey blade razors and the leaf is actually the easiest to learn because of its tilting head and the blade gaps while farther apart, are set to a spacing that tries to mimick a cartridge head but with just a tad more aggressiveness. With any saftey razor it's important to warm up your hair follicles and use a good quality shave soap. Because of the surface area on this razor I have found that a super slick shave cream works best something like creamo with a decent amount of water in the mix. I would not use a foam or gel aerosols type shave cream with this razor or really any saftey razor for the best shave. Bottom line is, if you are going to make anything work that isn't a cartridge razor, this leaf plus ANY decent regular style butterfly DE razor will be all you ever need for every eventuality and you will have saved so much using the leaf after 2 or 3 months that it will have paid for itself if you are a regular cartridge razor user. It's a no brainer.

At <$75 do not pass this up, they are being replaced by v2 of the Leaf
As a noob head shaver, this thing is amazing! It has taken me a little getting used to, but once you figure out your head, the shaver is easy. I am a 2 blade type of guy, the top 2 slots. I will be honest, at $110 I am not sure it is 100% worth it, because I feel you can make do with something half it's price in the "wet shave" world, but since they are replacing it with the new Leaf 2, at <$75, totally worth a try. The company is without a doubt a great company, the people there are awesome and were always quick to respond to any comment or concern I had. As of this review, only the Prism color is available, and I hadn't seen that one previously, wish I would have because it is awesome looking! Also, for me, the Leaf blades it comes with are not good for me. They might work for 1 shave and that was it. I stuck in Personna Red's now, and maybe actually bump up to something a bit more agressive, and I have fairly sensitive skin. Honest reviews for this are definitely Ohio Shaves and The Bald Wizard on YouTube. If you are on the fence, you better get one before they are gone!!!

Smoothest Shave!
I've never used a safety razor before, but I wanted to switch over from a traditional body razor. Women's razors are made with plastic, and have fragrant water polymers and soaps around the blades, made from perfumes and hormone disrupting chemicals that have always made my skin irritated and broken out. I've wanted to switch away from these chemicals for some time. I found the Leaf Shave 3 blade razor and decided to try it out! They're having a Black Friday sale which brought the price down to $60 (realistic for a full metal product) with replacement blades being super cheap. I received my razor this morning and immediately jumped in the shower to try it out. I had waited to shave my legs for about a week - my hair doesn't grow extremely fast, but it was long enough to really test the blades. The Leaf razor worked like a charm!! I made sure to scrub my legs and lather my organic shave soap really well, and then got to shaving. It takes some getting used to because of the weight of the product, but that also makes it easier to hold than a cheap plastic razor. I shaved very slowly as I got used to the mechanism. The pivot of the razor works amazing and contours the lines of your legs easily. I had zero cuts, and the absolute smoothest shave of my life! I had zero irritation afterwards and my legs feel great! Definitely buy this razor, you won't regret it!

Shave your head? Tired of clogged cartridges? Try this out!!
Ever since I came of age to shave, I used cartridge razors such as Gilette Mach 3, Fusion, Shick Quattro, and Harry's. For the last eight years, I've been shaving my head and a few months ago grew my beard out for the first time. I let it grow at the sideburns and jaw, with my mustache connecting to my beard. Last year, I got the opportunity to review The Twig, another razor by Leaf. It was a gamechanger: I could shave my entire face and head and never experience razor performance degradation from clogs! Thus began a journey to try other razors that weren't cartridge type. It took time; The Twig and the other razors I tried don't have pivoting heads like cartridge razors do, so I had to practice getting good blade angle alignment. As I tried different butterfly razors, I got one that had an aggressive blade. I was again mind boggled that the aggressive razor let me get that smooth shave so much faster and easier! I tried The Twig one day and appreciated it's weight balance over the butterfly razors, but it took more effort to get a close shave. So, I looked up Leaf's shavers and discovered this razor, as well as The Thorn. Prime Day came around last month, and The Thorn was on sale! I put it in my cart immediately, and saw this was on sale. I thought "Eh, why the heck not." and bought it as well. To end my story here and summarize my use of razors now, The Thorn is everything I like about The Twig, and I thought I'd use this Leaf razor once or twice then just use The Thorn. Not the case! The Thorn is used on my face and throat, with this Leaf being used on my neck and head. This Leaf has the best of both worlds for head shaving! Since it holds three individual blades, I can't clog it at all. AND, it has a pivoting head! That is such a convenient boon for head shaving, one that I didn't realize I missed so much! I can shave against the grain on my head once with this razor, and only need to touch up one or two areas at the base of my skull that are hard to get with any razor. But I don't need to make multiple passes or worry about this razor skimming over stubble instead of cutting it due to blade angle alignment. And again, it's such a relief to be able to shave a section of my scalp, then lightly rinse this razor under water and see all of the cut hair tumble right out! No more tapping cartridges on the sink or trying to pinch off the water flow from the faucet to get a forced stream of water to flush a cartridge out and making a mess! Since this razor's head is so broad, it's not as easy to cut yourself compared to a single bladed razor. Heck, I've yet to cut myself at all with this razor! So, you might be wondering why I bother using my Twig or Thorn at all, when this Leaf is working so well for me. This is why I mentioned my beard: Don't let this razor near longer hair, or it WILL grab onto it! I had a few shortened patches of hair on my beard from learning this the hard way! It wasn't a big deal, my beard (I normally keep it short) was getting a bit long, so I just trimmed it with my electric clippers. But if my beard was already to length.... I would've been annoyed. So, that's why I reserve this razor only for my head. It did do a fantastic job on my cheeks and throat, mind, but between this razor's head size and it's willingness to grab hair, I don't think it's worth trying to hedge my beard. So keep that in mind if you're considering this razor for facial use only and also grow a beard and/or don't shave your head and have sideburns that need to be hedged. Either have another smaller razor on hand or use an electric T blade clipper. But, I think this Leaf and The Thorn have ended my journey of different razors. It's so easy to get a close shave in a decent timeframe by shaving my face and throat with hedging my beard with The Thorn and shaving my scalp with this Leaf that I no longer have a desire to use anything else with regards to manual, bladed shaving. FInally, I've used Leaf's blades, some no-name brand blades, and blades from Derby in all of my Leaf brand razors, to include this one and have never had a fitment issue. Depending on how often you shave and how quickly your hair wears blades down, using a Leaf razor over cartridges could save you money! I know I spend a LOT less on shaving equipment now, having ditched my Harry's plan!

Worth the investment.
This is such a game changer for me. I have been using regular safety razors for around a year now and I have always nicked myself. I did not want to buy the leaf razor initially but after biting the bullet and buying this I can say that I am impressed. It is almost like using a regular razor and I love that it pivots. I also have not nicked myself with this razor yet. I did have to take a star off because I was not impressed with the sharpness of the blades provided, but when I used my own blades that I snapped in half it was much better. If this razor lasts it should be more cost effective than buying regular razors.

Not worth it, straight up.
Honestly, I saw this on YouTube and it looked cool, but then ordered it and I did not get a good shave. I wanted to replace my Harry Razor’s which is 5 blade, but I’d figure a 3 blade is sufficient for shaving my head and beard. Not what I was expecting, the shave was not close and I had to follow up with a Gillette 2 blade for clean ups. I used the single blades that came with the Leaf Shave, but the blade seemed dull. This is my honest opinion, don’t waste your money. I’ll stick with Harry’s 5 blade for the head shave and beard (although Harry’s does recommend not to use for head shaving), but well worth it . I normally use a straight-edge for the beard. Maybe I received a dud, not sure. Very disappointed though. I’m not sure if leaf shave has different models, but it is what it is.

Original Leaf 3 blade
I was very impressed with the original Leaf 3-blade razor. The pivoting head worked perfectly, making it easy to get a smooth, comfortable shave. The handle provided a secure grip, even when wet, giving me excellent control throughout the shave. The blade refill system was simple to load, making blade changes quick and hassle-free. Overall, the original Leaf 3-blade razor has an excellent design and is much better than the Leaf 2 for shaving a bald head. It delivers a closer, more comfortable shave and is easier to use. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality head-shaving razor.

I really wanted to love it!
I’ve been itching to get a new razor to replace my current single blade one. I especially wanted to get one that could accommodate two blades and Leaf kept popping up but the price kept me from getting it. I found this 3,2, or 1 blade version on Amazon and decided to take the plunge. I was excited about the thought of using half blades and make better use of them. The product is very nice looking and feels solid. The ease of loading those half blades was also quite nice. But then I used it and I was disappointed. To be fair, I do not know if it was intended for face shaving but some of the reviews explicitly stated that they used it on their face and loved it. Some of the issues were mentioned in other reviews; difficult to shave between nose and upper lip. This is due to the large head size and awkward angle of the shave head. It is also the reason for not being able to get a clean sideburn line. There is too much surface area in contact with the face to produce a good cutting angle. Also, once the handle gets a little wet, it is difficult to keep a hold of it and because of its weight has a tendency to slip out of hand. I’ve used it twice and both times had to rough up using my old razor. I would find it difficult to recommend this product, thought pretty as it is, to anyone that asks. So, why did I give it 3 stars? It is well made, very nice looking, appears to be sturdy, seems mechanically sound and just plain pretty. It may just not be intended for face shaving. The search continues.

Amerikan malı sanarak aldım ancak kutusunda Made in China yazıyor. Bana maliyeti 125 dolar olan bir üründe Made in USA yazmasını isterdim.

Very good shave!
Got this as a recommendation. So a lot of pros on this one: - uses any double or single edged razor blade, no locking in, very competitive prices for even high quality products, etc. - very easy to clean, this will still clog up like a cartridge razor, but because it can be easily opened up you can actually un-clog it without having to spend a lot of time. - swivel head makes it as easy to use as a cartridge razor, unlike other products that use de/se blades. - very easy to load new blades, between the strong magnets that will hold the blade in place and the 2 registration points that make it easy to make sure the blades are correctly aligned. - very solid construction and good feel in the hand, a bit tempted to get the silicon grips they make for this but then again not for a bit, I just spent 130 CAD on a razor :P, kinda wish it was included, or a stand for that matter, then again that might bump the price up even more. And a couple cons, which I kinda think are nit picks, and complaining about user error: - While I think it's difficult to get the blades misaligned, I did accidentally put a bend in a double edged blade when snapping it in half, which did end up messing up my face a bit. But in hind sight it is pretty easy to check for something like that. So It's not exactly idiot proof haha. - for face shaving the top bar of the razor's size makes it hard to get a good mustache shave, I already have a single bladed safety razor that does a good job of this, not really a problem on it's own but it does kinda mean that this >100$ razor doesn't entirely fill out what you need for a good face shave. - no soap bar (obviously), you are going to need to reapply soap or shaving cream as you shave, more often and more consistently than you would with disposable cartridge razors.
