Love these shears! They are sharp, and lock easily.

Finally decided to buy my first pair of garden shears after years of using plain scissors. These shears are much easier to use and I wish I'd bought them sooner. I barely have to use any strength to cut down flower stems. I've only had it for about 2 months, so I can't comment on longevity. I do clean the blades after each use and then store back into its packaging so not accidents occur.

Easy to use and good value.

This is an excellent replacement for the orange pocket pruners you can't buy anymore. It's light, easy to use and does the job.

Five stars? These are cheap and not really the best. Why five stars? 1) they are REALLY cheap-- you can keep them everywhere or hand them out to other gardener friends/family 2) they work well enough for light duty snipping. While cheap they are not cruddy-- they do the job. Do I have better ones/ Yes. But for instance, the other day I needed a handful of basil. These were fine for that, snip-snip-snip I had two ounces of basil. Very LIGHT pull required-- ecellent for anyone with arthritis or other hand issues. Again: not the best, but certainly the best you're ever likely to find this, ah, dirt cheap.
