Just the right size
When you spend $1000+ for an iPad, you put the best protection on it you can find. Sometime the additional protection limits your access to the charging port. This short extension works around that problem and is small enough to be carried in your pocket without feeling bulky

Worked the first usage only.
I used this adapter to listen to music on Apple earpods with an Android phone. The first try it worked fine but the 2nd I had to jiggle it around and hold it just right and not move to get sound to come through. And when it failed it failed bilaterally always, letting me know that it most likely wasn't my earpods at fault since in my experience earbuds always fail on one side or the other. The third try no amount of wiggling it around, taking it out and putting it back in , etc.. would work at all. Total silence. I was really disappointed that it failed so miserably. I sent it back. I guess I won't be able to use my earpods.

Use the old ear piece on a new iPad!
Sometimes it doesn't connect unless I make sure it is pushed in just so- but otherwise works the way I wanted. I just didn't want to throw out 3 sets of earphones from my old iPads..so I now can use them! I have EarPods but they often connect weirdly so this connector helps with the old ones. the lightning to usb-c is almost impossible to find. A bit expensive though. Worth ordering .

In a world with, little or no standardization, this does the job. No need to have separate earphones for each device.

Not good at handling volume
When connected to my Apple thunderbolt earphones, the volume change is not smooth, it changes in chunk. Also, it seems to respond to the system volume controls but not the applications' volume controls (like when on YouTube). Disappointed, I was really hoping to get this to work...

Hard to use
This thing doesn’t clip in all the way so once you plug in you can’t move it, even you slightly touch it it will stop working. You have to sit still not moving in order to use this.it also drain the battery if you use this as an audio adapter

Did not do what it’s supposed to
I was so excited to receive this but then very disappointed because the device didn’t work according to the description. It did not work. So I paid $20 plus and it’s useless.
