Squeezy and I are in Love.
Yes I got the Vice in today. She has beautiful blue eyes, and is a fine figure of composure. I was really happy when she let me read her operating manual. And afterwards I got to turn her crank, I named her Squeezy.. Is it Love, i think so. I know she loves me the way she squeezes my hand. Her precision screws are a treat and are as smooth as any I ever saw. We will be wed soon and live a long life together. I wrote this review, a lot like the books I have on KDP. Check them out soon, and you will be happy. William Ardrey

Perfect replacement for my old bench vise
My old bench vise was worse for wear. You couldn't lock it down, so it would spin if you applied pressure to whatever you were clamping. I tried to fix it, but it just wouldn't work. This was a great low-cost replacement that works a lot better. The clamping surface is wider than the old one, it looks better, and it works well. Way better than buying one at harbor freight for more money. Obviously if you're a professional mechanic or handyman, you might want something larger or with more features. But if you're a home-garage DIY'er like me, this is a perfect solution for you.

Solid little vice
Solid little vice. Came fast when I needed it. Heavy duty. Mounted right to my work bench no issues. Paint job is done well.

Good value vice
Good quality for the value price. I was a little concerned when I realized there was a bit more play in the base pivot than I was used to, but the value makes up for it and its nothing that cant be solved with a firm hand on the lock-in lever. I dont feel the need to upgrade, and keep using the vise, so it passed the shop test.

My Third-Hand
I needed a vise for some personal projects that involved metal and PVC pipes, wood and rods. I was going to use it as a third-hand for cutting, drilling and painting. I thought this Rolin's 4.5 inch model would work fine. One of the requirements that I had was that the vise had to open to at least 4 inches. This one can do about 4.25 inches. I've been happy with it. I did buy a set of magnetic pads to go with it. Installation was easy once you decide where you're going to mount it. It does not come with any mounting hardware, you have to supply your own nuts and bolts. Since they don't know how you're going to mount it and what length bolts you might need I don't see this as a problem. It can rotate 240 degrees. I'd say 90 percent of my work isn't going to require the vise to rotate, but it's nice to have the option when needed. When you go to mount it think about how you want it to rotate and what will be the best position for your needs. All in all I've been happy with the smooth operation of this vise.

impressed
This is a nice vice for the price and my DIY shop. I filed off the sharp edges after busting my knuckles. You'll see if you get one. Had to tighten the bolt underneath so it would lock down better. That bolt and washer is to loose. That's it. Bolted to bench and ready to go. I use it a lot. Sanded the paint off the anvil too.
