This is a good gym mat. Very good durability, easy to cut and fit, flattened well and great looking color.

I wanted to get more active while still spending a huge amount of time at a keyboard and listening to podcasts, so I purchased this. It has worked really well so far. No assembly needed, and it's light enough for me to pick up the end without the wheels, and easily wheel it around. It does roll smoothly, so no worries about having it on hardwood floors. I did buy a pad to go under it though. I am 5'7" and worried about having to shorted my stride to walk on it, but it is mot a problem. I am going to slap together a small table top or something to rest my arms on while using the keyboard - I have zoned out while walking and found myself trying to step on the front, off the back, or way off to the side. A small table or something will help keep me centered in place (I do not have a standing desk yet). It is quiet and seems well designed and well made, not the usual from China. I am loving it so far and have no reason to think that will change as this seems to be well built.

For my birthday, my husband got me a second hand treadmill that we saw at a thrift store (twenty-five bucks!!) and as soon as we got it home, I realized I had made a huge mistake in not getting a treadmill mat since we have brand new hardwood floors. Off to Amazon I went and came across this nifty little life saver. I was concerned about the size because I can not guesstimate the size of anything to save my life, and I was too lazy to grab the measuring tape, so I figured the worst that would have happened is that I would have to return it. It had arrived on time as promised (unlike a lot of other items I have been ordering from other sellers) and packaged quite nicely. The hard part came when I, a 130lb woman, decided to try and place the treadmill on the mat. It kept catching and would have been quite a sight, but still, I was able to do it. My treadmill originally seemed a little unbalanced or unstable (again, second hand and $25, couldn't be too upset) but this actually not only made it stable, but a lot quieter too. The mat does seem a little thin, but extremely dense, so I have no worries about it breaking down anytime soon. I have a Pro-Form Crosswalk 380 and the sizing was just right, so if you're lazy like me, just compare the dimensions of my machine with yours. There is some extra room length wise, so may fit a longer machine, however, width wise, there isn't much free space beyond what my treadmill took up. I am also extremely pleased that the company offers a 2-year warranty. It shows that they truely stand behind their product and makes me happy to support them as a company. Would definitetly recommend to anyone in the market for a product like this!

Requirement -- this mat was purchased for some in garage / patio calisthenics workouts owing to Covid-19 situation. this is a heavy well built mattress. straight out of the boxhad that rubber / chemical smell (not overpowering but it was there). Put it out in the sun for a coupe of days (bright sunny and rainy as well) and the smell is all gone. Now sits in the garage for workouts and has been put to a month+ of daily usgae. Pros -- -- extremely well built, sturdy and heavy mattress. -- Thickness is decent for the amount paid. spot jogging on it did mitigate the impact from the ground. -- the rubber density is very good. indents do get created as you stand on it but no to the extent to feel the ground beneath. -- grippy surface -- the texture is such to not let the foot slip and that is very helpful for mountain climbers/burpees. Cons -- -- dust does tend to reduce the grip a bit. A simple fix is to wipe it with a wet power towel (cleanex wipes are great but i am not sure of the effects of chemicals in the long run). Definitely recommended.

I saw this mat but it was used for under exercise equipment, so asked the community if it would work on a carpet to do my workouts, particularly cardio and got 4 replies "yes". Long story this is a NO shoes house or you get booties, but I still can't figure out what happened. I put on my workout shoes and go down the hallway to workout. I guess I never noticed for sometime that the carpet was getting dirty, then suddenly one day I realized how bad it was , the photo is not as bad as it is now as I tried to clean it with a portable carpet cleaner and that made it worse. The carpet is only 5 years old, thick padding and a WAVE design which made it worse as the dirt got into the grooves. Needless to say I was devastated and wanted something to cover it up ASAP. I got this and gave it a week to see if it would work for me. Day one it slipped so I flipped it over so the rougher side was on the carpet. Day 2 it still moved. The times it moved it was a couple of inches then it stopped. I did some experimenting and decided I could use weights that I no long use for Strength Training and put them on one end, and then my Aerobic step on the other end. The step I use when I do Weights so moved it back into the middle. PROBLEM SOLVED. I HAVE WORKED OUT FOR A WEEK AND DONE CARDIO WHICH I DID THIS MORNING - FAST MOVES AND IT HAS NOT SLID ONCE, PLUS THE WEIGHTS AND STEP DO NOT GET IN THE WAY AS THE MAT IS LONG ENOUGH FOR ME TO DO MY WORKOUTS. I am so HAPPY I stuck it out as it made me miserable going in to my home gym daily and seeing the carpet. I will be having my carpets cleaned in Spring, but still plan to use the mat as it must have happened slowly over the years and no way do I want it to happen again. Bottom line is you can make is work as I did. I also saw from review that other used it for non exercise related things. I highly recommend it.

I kept getting shocked while on the treadmill, and it was recommended that I put a mat underneath. This gym equipment mat solved the problem perfectly. It’s nice and thick, doesn’t interfere with the treadmill, and provides exactly what I needed at a good price. Highly recommend for anyone with treadmill static issues.

Put this under my universal gym. Worked perfect.

I purchased a BalanceFrom Fitness 3' x 6.5' High Density Gym Equipment Mat after I purchased a treadmill - with my carpeting the treadmill was moving while I was on it and it was dangerous so I bought this mat. I've had it for over a year now which is why I have rated so long to give a review and it still holding its own. I don't know about the noise reduction as I live in the middle of rural Georgia and I'm hearing impaired so I can't help y'all there. However, my treadmill does not move at all now! It's stationary as it should be. I've noticed some reviews where folks said that there was an odor to the mat, but mine had a slight odor so I laid it out on my porch on a dry sunny day, aired it out and I brought it back inside. I had a friend of mine help me move the treadmill. We put the mat down and it's been there ever since - on top of a very thin carpet. I have plenty of room to maneuver, the treadmill is centered perfect fit, and the mat is thick enough and has a firm grip, and it functions exactly what I needed.

I bought this so that i could work out on it and not damage the floor. Surpsingly it was much thicker and heavier than i expected and has quite a bit of cushion. I was a bit hesitant at first cause of the price point but so far its been great. I also saw some other reviews saying it was thin and low quality but mine doesnt seem to be the case. The mat doesnt slide around as its quite heavy, even when i move on it alot and it doesnt seem to bleed into the floor. For me it was a great purchase as it suited my needs perfectly.

Bought to protect the carpet from the use of the treadmill. Great size, the material is robust. No complaints here.
