Minky 3.5L Caddy, Food Waste Caddy, Removable Bag Retention Ring, UK Made

I bought this caddy to hold food waste. I bought the black one which goes with my kitchen. It's a sturdy well made caddy which is bigger than I thought it would be but that just means it'll hold a lot of food waste. I It is very light and has a good sized handle to carry it. Theres a plastic rim on the top of the bin which can easily be removed . I then put a bag in and once it's back on it holds the top of the bag securely so it doesn't end up falling into the caddy. I tried putting a green food bag in it but it was too small. I bought bin liners which are for a 5 to 6 l bin and I use one of them in the caddy. Once the bag is full it's taken out to the brown bin and the contents are emptied out of the bag into the bin. So far I've found there's no odour from the bin due to the lid which sits tight on top of the bin. This bin could be used to hold numerous items so it's very versatile. Priced at just £10 this bin is excellent value for money and I'd highly recommend it.

A really nice item, well made, practical and good looking. Why only a four star review? Because the label is almost impossible to remove. Tried to peel off from all four corners and it just shreds. Has to be soaked, peeled off in small shreds with a finger nail and then cleaned with a non-scratch scourer and washing up liquid. Still some glue remaining that I removed with an isopropyl alcohol based cleaner and microfibre cloth. Why do manufacturers do this? Easy peel labels are available Minky. Use them.

My council has recently started a food waste collection but the bin provided for the kitchen is too big and well - ugly. This is a great size to store waste whilst not bringing cumbersome or unsightly. The 'ring' holding your bags in place is great. Really happy with purchase.

I'm very pleased with this food waste caddy. It's just the right size for a counter top so teabags, peelings, etc. can be popped straight in. The lid keeps any smells contained and the handle is useful when taking the caddy to the green bin outside for emptying. The olivine colour is very nice too. Thank you!

Wanted to replace the unsightly bin that was provided by the council. This bin was so much better, more compact, more aesthetic. Operates just the same but with an extra lid that holds the bag in place. I ordered this caddy in good faith, even after some reviews reported the lid not shutting tightly and, guess what, they were perfectly right, so I am a tad disappointed with this Minky product although it's good in all other aspects

Exactly as described and the right size to sit on the kitchen counter.

Got this because the piece that fits in to hold the bag in place seemed like a really good idea, but it doesn't fit properly, so not only does the bag NOT stay in place, but the lid doesn't close completely, resulting in odors and fruit flies.

Got this to replace a makeshift caddy I was using. This is very nice to use, quite some capacity so I don't need to empty it multiple times a day. The lid opens and stays open easily, and the handle makes it easy to move around.

Très pratique ! Je l'utilise comme poubelle compost dans la cuisine pour le vider dans le vrai compost du jardin ensuite. Le bac évite les mouches et est facilement transportable.
