I used to manage a Smoothie King. After that, I worked in another juice bar/smoothie business. Those were high school/college jobs, but I still got a ton of experience with smoothie making and use of top tier, commercial blenders. I though Vitamix was the end all be all of blenders. Screw Ninja with all the blades, a Vitamix can pulverize and powderize anything you throw at it with the two small blades at the bottom. Flash forward to my first apartment after college - I had my eyes on a Vitamix but spending $3-400 just to make smoothies made absolutely zero sense financially. I was complaining about the Vitamix price tag to a friend of mine amidst a night of heavy drinking, and he asked me why I didn't just get a Ninja. I told him I thought Ninja's were dumb and gimmicky, and that nothing compares to a Vitamix. He then asked if I'd ever heard of a youtube channel called "Will It Blend?". I told him I hadn't, he quickly pulled it up, and after watching this blender turn an iPad into powder, I knew I'd found what I was looking for. Vitamix power at half the price. You cannot go wrong with this thing. It's absurdly easy to use, absurdly easy to clean, attractive to look at, and seriously just as good as any of the commercial Vitamix's I used at Smoothie King. Don't think twice. This is it. Blendtec > Vitamix.

This machine is an amazing “blender”- it makes totally smooth smoothies in one minute and with the correct amount of liquid will blend or cream any other concoction in a matter of minutes. It is loud but that’s the powerful motor and well designed blades at work. The container and top are very sturdy and well designed and extremely easy to clean. It has a sturdy industrial cord and plug and off switch to preserve the motor. I’ve had it for a couple of months now, use it twice daily with liquids, powders, solids, ice and frozen items and it works like a charm! And it’s a US company and I believe it’s made in country. My old Vitamix pales by comparison Blendtec gets 5 stars from me! 👍👍👍👍👍

Super product, works great, easy to use, super easy to clean. Strong and powerful, blends ice well. Easy instructions. Blends perfectly as instructed.

Motor seems to work ok. The unit I bought about 14 years ago was working, but bought new just because. My problem/complaint is the top/lid is very difficult to install. Seems that the lid might belong to another style. I have to be really careful.

I am so pleased with both the price point and the quality of this blender. Blendtec surpasses in quality and ease of use. Most of all...the amazing self cleaning feature is sooooo nice! I have enjoyed more healthy juicing choices and soups since I purchased this and believe it or not, I lost weight because I turn to my Blendtec for lovely smoothies. I also find myself with lower cholesterol! I think adding celery and parsley (blended twice) really improved my skin! You won't be disappointed! Give it a whirl!

After a lot of research we decided to go with the Blendtec Classic 575 Blender because of the quality of blending and the great price. Since we've purchased it we absolutely love it. We use it approximately once a day and haven't had any issues thus far. I definitely would purchase this blender again. It is very simple to use, has a lot of power, and one of the reasons we purchased it over competitor was because of the container size. It's one of the largest on the market for the quality.

Update: the seller reached out and handled my issue promptly and politely! Definitely recommend buying from responsible sellers like this one. Thanks again Pattern. The new Blendtec I bough is defective after 66 smoothies/4 months. I will update this after customer service gets back to me about a refund. It stops after mere seconds and says overloaded and smells burnt! It was just a smoothie and definitely not overloaded (liquid) see the video for proof. The older Blendtecs last FOREVER. I still have my 2011 model and it’s up to 2490 smoothies and still kickin! I only upgraded because the new base looks nicer on my counter and I assumed it would also last forever so I could just use my older one in my RV and the new fancy one in my house. Wrong. I’m asking for a full refund and I’ll use my old Blendtec from now on! I hope it’s a fluke and they all aren’t this poorly made! Stay tuned.

***Update-I contacted Amazon directly after searching their phone number. I will say this is a flaw of Amazon, the phone number is not readily accessible. But after a brief explanation the customer service rep readily agreed the product I received should not have been sent. I was allowed to "dispose" of the product I received in any way I chose...I could throw it in the trash, donate it, give it to family, whatever I wanted but no return was required. So CUDOS to Amazon on that one!!! A new product was shipped immediately and I received it in about three days. I absolutely love this blender. I use it for smoothies and it handles about anything I throw at it. I push the button, stand back, and watch the magic. No need for continually shoving the ingredients down to the blades as long as the proper mix of solids and liquids are included. A couple times I've put in too much frozen fruit and not enough soft food or liquid to keep things moving and I did give it one good mix. I cannot fault the blender on that one, things were simply sticking to the sides of the pitcher because it was basically all frozen fruit, just too thick. I have no complaints at all. I absolutely love this blender and I would purchase another one in a heartbeat. For the record, I gave the first one to my sister. She was finding chunks of rubber in her smoothies so she called the company just to see what might be done. She was upfront about how she came to own the blender...free on the mistake from my order. They said it didn't matter, they stood by the product. It was a known problem with the rubber gasket which has since been improved and they would send her a new and updated pitcher at no cost. Honestly, you don't find customer service like that these days. On that alone I would recommend this product over and over again. Blendtec absolutely rocks!!! This was supposed to be a new product, not one of the certified refurbished. It was "packed" in a box easily 5 times too big. Everything was simply tossed in loose with NO packing material, absolutely NONE. The base is rusty and there is a chip or large, wide scratch in it. The pitcher is filthy. The spatula is filthy. The rubber lid looks like it was stored who knows where and is misshapen. The pitcher and plastic lid are not clear, they are yellowed, cloudy and look like they are easily twenty years old. No manual or other paperwork was included in the box. I'd put this thing on a garage sale with a free sign on it. I wouldn't even accept it if it was one of the certified refurbished models, it certainly is NOT a new product. I cannot figure out how to contact them other than to request a return. I am NOT spending my time repacking and returning this useless item. I have contacted my credit card company and filed a dispute. It should be easier to contact them with a general complaint, I wouldn't be writing a public complaint before giving them a chance to resolve the issue. Pretty expensive product to have treated it in this manner.

This blender kicks ass . Cut my smoothie preparation time in half from my old blender. Don't have to precut my fruit

I really like the physical size of this model, I compared a Vitamix and this model of Blendtec. I found the Vitamix too large and heavy for me as a senior. Both had similar power but this Blendtec was easier to get thick contents out of. I put this Blendtec on my wish list and got a terrific price in a few months.
