This lens is great. It is very sensitive but takes a great cinematic photo. I have not used it for video yet.

I enjoy the lens very much haven't use it that much, works wonders in low light. Have to use it with nd filters for sunny days. I fully recomend it for artistic photos, product, portraits, and stable headtalk video because it's not autofocus. For the price is the best you can get, all made in metal not plastic, and it looks great in your camera.

You have to tweak it to find the sweet spot. Very good depth of field (nice blur) I use it with a Nikon z6ii

For the price the lens is fantastic. It's not the best lens money can buy but for what it costs you're getting more than your money's worth. I love the background blur you can achieve with the low 1.4 aperture. If you're looking for an inexpensive lens to help sharpen your photography skills and get one for this price that's actually worth using this fits the bill perfectly.

Awesome product, great quality

Love the build quality and the optics are great. Couldn't ask for anything more for the great price. The only thing that bugs me is that the aperture and focus rings are opposite to my other lenses.

I purchased this lens for my Fuji X system to get me out of a creative funk. While I am still in the test phase of this lens I must say I am pleased. At this time I do not have a negative thing to say about this lens. It is sharp. It is accurate. Absolutely a great purchase for a beginner tying to learn depth of field or a seasoned professional looking for a change of pace. Highly recommended.

From the time I opened the box this lens has been nothing but a delight. Solid, with overall build quality of a superior standard. Focus and aperture ring are both smooth and easy, but not to loose in turning. When I attached this lens to my Fujifilm X E2 and spent a day with it, I was surprised, very pleasantly by the sharpness of the shots I took, and the depth and richness of the colour, were captivating. The X E2 is known for its image quality, however, this lovely little "budget" lens, pushed the envelope a bit further, in my view.Seven Artisans, you have won a customer the old fashioned way, with the delivery of quality at a more than reasonable price.

Can't complain for the price even gave it a shot at astro and came out pretty well. Good product well built and packaged. Will be buying more

Bedienung ist etwas fummelig beim Focus einstellen aber für mich als Hobbyfotograf ein Objektiv das richtig Spaß macht. Ich würde es wiederkaufen.

Ho voluto provare questo obiettivo 7artisans 35mm F1.4 Mark II per micro4/3 attirato dal prezzo davvero interessante: per soli 75 euro (attualmente c’è anche una promozione che permette di risparmiare 9 euro) ti puoi portare a casa un obiettivo 70mm equivalente davvero luminoso.La costruzione è molto buona, solida, si sente il metallo. Le due ghiere per i diaframmi e la messa a fuoco si muovono in modo fluido e preciso. Devo precisare che si tratta di un obiettivo completamente manuale che richiede un po’ di praticità per la messa a fuoco che nonostante tutto è sufficientemente agevole sulla mia Lumix GX80 utilizzando l’ingrandimento e il peaking.La resa è un po’ morbida a tutta apertura ma basta chiudere un po’ i diaframmi per avere un’ottima nitidezza al centro del frame. I colori hanno una resa che ricorda diverse ottiche vintage, con un bokeh davvero interessante, mentre la resistenza al flare che non è proprio ottima (può aiutare un paraluce che non viene fornito nella scatola). Probabilmente si tratta di un'ottica pensata più per videomakers data l’assenza del click nella ghiera dei diaframmi e la presenza di un accessorio per ruotare le ghiere in modo fluido.Ho apprezzato la presenza sul barilotto delle indicazioni per la messa a fuoco che aiutano nell’iperfocale ma purtroppo non sono affatto precise e quindi diventano abbastanza inutili nella pratica (non so se si tratta di un problema del mio esemplare).Nel complesso mi sento di consigliare questo obiettivo per chi vuole spendere poco ed avere un obiettivo luminoso e robusto a patto di rinunciare alla messa a fuoco automatica.

Provato con qualche scatto, molto interessante, ottima qualità di costruzione, resa fotografica oltre le aspettative, va testato a fondo per una valutazione completato è definitiva. Oltre all’obiettivo ho ricevuto una serie di accessori molto graditi. Per ora posso dire che 7Artisan è una bella realtà, ma questo già lo sapevo perché ho usato già altro materiale da loro prodotto.
