Spirited Away (English and Japanese Edition)

I like artwork of Hayao Miyazaki’s animated films! And it’s great to have such a beautiful book! The book arrived in good condition and quickly - great service. I bought it with goal to train my Japanese reading: book has furigana captions for all kanji, it’s very convenient. Text is big enough and easy to read. I’m very pleased.

A good book for starters. No English text, so forces the reader to learn. Furigana definitely helps with khanji reading and helps in retaining meanings. Story is great. There's also animated movie in English and Japanese.

Haven’t attempted to read it as I’m in the process of learning Japanese and bought this book for that reason. The story I already know as I have watched the anime version many years ago and it’s a very interesting and entertaining story as it also gives inside perspective of Japanese spiritual culture.

The book arrived quickly and in great condition. Honestly, I have never seen a book packaged in such an intricate manner. The artwork is stunning. As other reviews have said, the (English/Japanese Edition) is a little misleading. This book is solely printed in Japanese. The Furigana is tiny and difficult to read. I would recommend this product for anyone practicing Japanese at an intermediate level.

I got it earlier than expedited, and I love it! The book was in great condition also. I would order another one of these because I love Studio Ghibli movies, and reading this was great as this being one of my favorite movies of all time.

The book is great and the service is good also. The only thing that I think is misleading (English/Japanese) and in the product description, they mentioned in the languages English/Japanese. The book I got is only in Japanese and there is not English

Beautiful, exactly as described.

I purchased this to use as reading practice for Japanese at the beginner level. It is great value since it is much longer than other children's books at this price level (150+ pages!). All kanji include furigana and has the well known ghibli IP and artwork! I will definitely be buying more of these Ghibli books for practice!

Lo compré porque actualmente estoy aprendiendo japonés y me pareció bellisimo. El libro es de muy buena calidad, pasta dura, las hojas traen buen grosor y viene totalmente en japonés, los kanji tren su equivalente en hiragana, y creo que si estás iniciándote en el idioma, quieres empezar a practicar más el hiragana y eres fan de ghibli este libro es ideal. El envío tardó menos de lo indicado y venía perfectamente envuelto sin ningún detalle.

Ich habe das Buch im guten gebrauchten Zustand gekauft und es sieht wirklich sehr gut aus. Kaum gebrauchsspuren und generell ein sehr schönes Buch mit gutem Druck auf dickem, matten Papier. Der Preis war top und der Versand günstig und schnell. Das Buch kam einen Monat VOR dem frühst angegebenen Datum an (hat also etwa 2 Wochen von Bestellung bis in der Hand halten gedauert). Ich kann noch nicht gut Japanisch, aber zum lesen üben ist es gut geeignet, da die Kanji-Zeichen eine Lesehilfe haben (Über den Kanji-Zeichen ist klein die Aussprache in Hiragana abgedruckt). Insgesamt ist es ästhetisch und ansprechend gestalltet. Ich bin sehr zufrieden!

The sleeve was a nice addition, the pages images are vivid in colours and all the characters clear to read.

One of the best anime picture books ever made. Really recommend it!! Such great pictures and paper quality!!
