Question 1

Any idea what the shelf life is for these? ie, if I buy in bulk, how soon will I need to use them before they are no longer moist/effective?  thanks

Hi Maoldomnaaigh,  I purchased a dozen of these on March 16, 2013 which was not my first order.  I no longer need them for my condition so I went to my medical supply and took a look.  On the bottom of the bandage box it states:  DO NOT USE AFTER 2017-11.Notes:  1 Because of the cost factor I bought my own boos which the doctor had no problem with.  He assured me that they are exactly the same as what he uses in his office.  2 Each bandage is SEALED in it's own foil.  3  Although I will not give my excellent source of information I have learned expiration dates are from federal law and does not mean that product is immediately unusable.  I recently developed some pain in both arms and started using Tylenol generic tablets and expire in 2011 (it is rare that I take any drugs other than doctor prescribed) and they still did their job.  Since my wife's departure to be with our Lord I have been using food that has expired and none of it is bad.  Of course check it before using it.I read the other 3 reviews but none of them had positive information.  I gave you positive information right from the box plus when I purchased them. I don't know how often you use the boot but you have at least a 4 year period of not worrying about them not being moist.  Like I said, they are sealed very well.I hope I have helped you and feel that you will not be disappointed.Bobby Blue

How long can I leave these on?

The doc has me leave on unnas for a week. When I do it myself, 5-7 days.

Question 3

Are these wet, like soaked in zinc cream, like a wet wrap? Do they need to be covered with dry bandages?

Sometimes yes, they're wetter then others & need that extra wrap to keep from getting everything wet. Other boxes are quite dry. I guess it depends on when or where the box is in the production run.
