Try it!
Received on 04/2022 and product has an expiration of 11/2024 came with lid sealed as well as peel off seal over mouth. Holy moly this is the easiest mixing creatine I have ever tried! No grittyness compared to others! It comes in a serum-y, milky, type consistency and the taste us great! This was so easy to swallow! I mixed it with a little water as shown in the photo. The taste is slightly sweet, more of a real sugar taste. And that's it, just a slight sweetness to it! Those could be mixed with anything, even coffee and it would just sweeten it a little! I cannot speak on results as of yet, will update if anything comes to With that being said, I love this! Highly recommend!

Easy to take, but not sure it's as good as plain old monohydrate.
Krea-Alkalyn may be more beneficial than standard creatine monohydrate - but only when taking equivalent doses. I just don't think there is good reason to believe that 1.5g Kre-Alkalyn is as good as 5 grams monohydrate. I'll explain below. Advantages of this product: *Tastes delicious, just like a thick sugar water. *Super easy to take your daily 1.5g dose. Disadvantages: *Not enough evidence to believe a 1.5 g/day dose is as effective as 5 g/day monohydrate. *The added "Karbolyn" is only 500mg dose. That's way too small to do anything for absorption, and people take karbolyn as a carb supplement in doses of 30-60 GRAMS. It's only in this product for the optics. What the science says: There was a study done that tested Kre-alkalyn vs Creatine Monohydrate, titled: "A buffered form of creatine does not promote greater changes in muscle creatine content, body composition, or training adaptations than creatine monohydrate." Basically, they tested the creatines against each other: 1) 1.5 grams Kre-Alkalyn per day for 28 days vs 2) 20g/day for 7 days (loading dose) followed by 5g/day creatine monohydrate. The 1.5g Kre-Alkalyn group noted much less strength gains, fat loss, and less muscle creatine content than the 5 gram per day monohydrate group...*Important note: the study was funded by Creapure, the creatine monohydrate giant. So there very well could be some bias, but this is basically the most extensive research paper there is on Kre-Alkalyn and I have no reason not to trust it. Kre-alkalyn mentions a study on their webpage: "After 60 days, the Kre-Alkalyn group (using 7.5 g per day) experienced an overall average strength increase of 28.25% above those in the unbuffered creatine monohydrate group! *Elite athletes using 7.5 g of Kre Alkalyn. Individual results may vary." So in their study, Kre-Alkalyn performed better than creatine monohydrate, but they had to take 7.5 g per day...that's a lot more than the 1.5g/day they are recommending on the bottle. My thoughts: It's fun to experiment with different forms of creatine, and while there may be some additional unproven benefits of kre-alkalyn over monohydrate - I'm not seeing any evidence of that. I'll probably be doubling my dose to 1 Tbsp - 3 grams per day, and see if that gets me more benefits.

An Easier And Effective Liquid Creatine
EFX Sports' Kre-Alkalyn Liquid Creatine Concentrate is a convenient and effect way for me to get my pre-workout creatine in. An extra bonus is that also has Karbolyn, a long lasting carb that sustains blood glucose levels better than sugar. I like taking this stuff by the spoonful, but it can be mixed with water or other liquids. It is thick but lightly sweet like sugar water. The pH buffered nature means it should be easier to get into my system. I can't say I notice a huge difference over powdered creatine, but I need less of it and I definitely get an added boost in the gym and with my recovery. You just need have a tablespoon so the bottle should last me a while. It also does not need to be refrigerated. My bottle has an Expiration Date of 11/ 2024. Made in the USA ~ Kort
