NOT an outdoor item
I bought this to use while camping and I did use it. However, I didn't notice when I purchased it, that it isn't really for outdoor use, regardless of any information stating it is. The paperwork warning is that it is not to be used in wet or rainy conditions. The cord is fairly short, so there was no way around the fact that it was going to be outside at the electrical post. I threw a small tarp over the post in case it rained during the night and was disappointed to have missed this. The description states, "and moisture resistance, which is durable and withstand outdoor harsh condition." Doesn't exactly make it look that using it outdoors might be an issue, but the product label definitely says this. Outside of that, it worked as expected, is very durable and solid.

Great adapter for electric
I go tent camping every year with friends. There are usually 4 tents at our site, but only two 110 outlets per site. I used this adapter in the RV power receptacle and ran a 110 extension cord to power the AC in my tent plus the 4th person had electricity too. Well made.
