Spectacular!
I received my copy of Moll's latest book two days ago and have not been able to put it down. I have always been a huge fan and this latest book did not disappoint. Having experienced a similar childhood trauma as Moll I was literally blown away by this book. My current life's color story finally started to make sense to me. As a child I was obsessed with color. As an adult my world was almost void of it. I too decorated with darker colors that felt safe and cocoon like, but never really sparked any real life in me. I attributed it to my developing a more mature pallet as an adult. I purchased tons of decorating books hoping to find the "IT" piece that always seemed to be missing hoping to finally find the one thing to make my house feel like a real home. This book literally opened my eyes. Thanks to Moll I am ready to live in Technicolor again. This book was so beautifully put together. Every single page was filled with explosions of color and decorating ideas. Even though the furniture in the photos was definitely high end the inclusion of photos of every day life and every day items helped me to see that color can be found in something as simple as a beautiful flower to a racy cocktail drink. I absolutely loved her addition of the cocktail recipes. A little personal touch that is so Moll. I was so impressed with this book that I am thinking of purchasing several copies to give a gifts.

Great, surprising read
(This review is based on an ARC) I will honest: when I first got the book, I thought the book was beautiful but was't sure that color could actually change my life. I'm happy to report that I was wrong!First though, the book itself is high quality with thick, glossy pages filled with gorgeous, full color photos. It is beautiful and seriously made me want to climb into the pages to live. The publisher did high quality for both the construction and the layout and the book looks great as a coffee table book.Secondly, the content is part self-help with questions and points to ponder, part cookbook with cool, colorful cocktail recipes, part home decor advice and part lifestyle inspiration. Moll writes the book with personal and practical advice and antidotes that are fun to read and engaging. But, did it change my life? Actually, yes it did! I was prompted to finally do several home projects (including a daunting painting task) that have made me so much happier in my house. Also, the book prompted me to change some habits and thought patterns that have genuinely improved my outlook and have made me happier and healthier. Who knew from a home decor book!?I definitely recommend "Change Your Home, Change Your Life with Color" for anyone looking for inspiration and a fresh viewpoint. I will be giving it away as gifts in the future!

I love color and
This book starts out describing a color related trauma that the author had experienced and as you progress through the book it continues to build on this idea. I couldn't really relate to the story nor the ongoing "life coaching". I love color and, while I have favorites, there isn't an that I completely stay away from. I was hoping for more design ideas to use on my own home, but didn't find much there.Having said that, the photos are beautiful and I did enjoy reading the book. I am also intrigued by the cocktail ideas and my have to try a couple. If you are shy about using color In your home, or have had some personal trauma related to color then this book may be for you. If you are already confident in using color then you may not get as much out of the book.

Overall well written
Overall, well written and I loved the little extras like personal stories and darling recipes. I really liked how the book was broken down into color categories. However, overall the design advice was just bolder than I would personally ever do. Perhaps it was intentionally to the extreme, but I cannot see the majority of people using that much color at one time.

I love design books, but this is more than that.
I love design books, but this is more than that. Not only does it show you wonderful ways to incorporate more color into your life, it helps you understand the power of your color memories and your color fears. The photography is beautiful and very motivating, it even made me reconsider colors I thought I didn't like. You will read it multiple times as it keeps revealing it's layers with each reading. Every time you will get something more out of it. I received a pre-release copy, but I purchased another to give as a gift for a housewarming. Worth every dollar!

So much more than JUST a Design Book!!!!
This book is SO MUCH MORE than a "design" book. when you start reading it, you will come to find out it's more of a psychology book with an emphasis of color and why some colors impact you more or less than others and how to integrate them into your home to improve mood and energy. After ordering one an receiving it, I promptly ordered two more for family members.

Fabulous Beyond!!
Oh my gosh!!! This book is the most stunning book that I have ever seen. Moll Anderson has a very clear idea of what color does to us in every aspect of our life. The book not only is beautiful, but has great information.....including fabulous recipes!! I will give this book to all of my friends, for them to get the same enjoyment that it gave me.

good information for evryone
I may have read this book years ago, but I loved reading it now. I started to read a library copy and then ordered my own. I am an artist and will use these concepts about colour in my art as well as my clothes and my home. I will also be more conscious of the choices others make and what that may mean.A very useful book, well organized with great colour pages.
