J.B. Prince U715 S/S Chef Gray Kunz Sauce Spoon, Stainless Steel

My wife cooks and I bought this as a surprise gift. At first she couldn't believe I paid this amount "for a spoon!" 3 weeks in and now I can't take it out of her hands. She loves it! It's the perfect size for saucing, mixing, ladling, skimming.. small and large pots and pans, very versatile and functional.

This is a bougie spoon for sure and honestly, I didn't think I would wind up keeping up because of the price. However, once you hold this spoon in your hand, feel the weight and quality, it's hard not for it to become your go to saucing spoon. Even though I bought it for myself, it would make a perfect side gift for any friends or family that are into cooking gourmet meals.

Every cook – home or pro – should have one of these. (I'm in the "home category," and thought I had every possibly needed essential kitchen item.) Yeah, it's "just a spoon"... But it does amazing things when it's in your hand: Stirs a sauce, bastes that brown butter over whatever you've got wanting brown butter, just the right size for a serious taste... and all kinds of other uses you didn't know you needed. Money well spent, IMHO!

I had received one as a gift and then bought more to gift to others. It is one of my go-to utensils in the kitchen because it is so versatile. I should probably buy another one or two just for my own kitchen. The only downside is that I try not to use with my non-stick pans.

I've purchased a dozen of these, mostly for friends. We have three houses we cook out of, and each one has at least a pair of these spoons. They are amazing. It is perfect for scooping out yogurt for your kids, just the right size to cool a spoonful of stock for tasting, and ideal pulling stuffing out of a turkey. The list could go one, but if you cook a lot, you'll appreciate this thing. Honestly, just buy one. It is a little expensive for a spoon, but once you own one, you'll get it and buy more. It makes a great gift as well.

I gave this to my husband, who is a passionate cook. It is a core part of his identity. This is just a big spoon. Actually about the same size as my serving spoons. That said, it is a great sauce spoon. The finish is such that things slide right out of it. It is a great size. The tip is just the right size to make a nice drizzle. He was thrilled. It's still a lot of money for a spoon.

This spoon is really great. It is shaped perfectly to stir and get the corners of the pot and to drizzle sauce over plates. It sits elegantly and comfortably in your hand. It has a fantastic shape and balance. Worth the splurge.

Nice spoon, does what it's designed for. Go with the real deal instead of a knock off. This insures it is properly angled and weighted.

Excellent spoon for basting and other spooky things. Somehow it’s just the right size.

The Kunz spoon is in high rotation in our kitchen because it is a joy to handle. Yes a bit expensive for what is supposedly 'just a spoon' but people will also pay a lot for utensils like knives that have that perfect heft and balance.

In the end of the day you are buying design but for the amount of money for a spoon, I think it could’ve come with a much better finishing. Amazing to use though. It’s probably the best cooking spoon ever. If you are considering to buy it, just do it

Never thought I needed one until I got it. Now I use it all the time and gave one to my daughter and also one to my brother. Excellent gift for people who like to cook. It has come in handy so many times. Perfect size. The handle may bea little bit on the thin side for some but it also makes it lighter and very easy to use. Love it!
