I sustained a back injury a couple of years ago. Three bulging discs in my lower back. It's taken a lot of physical therapy and exercise to recover from. I've got ice packs and they work for what I need them for. They don't stay cold for much longer than 15-20 minutes, but they're okay. But then I hurt my left shoulder a few months ago, and those ice packs weren't working so well. Very awkward and I couldn't adjust them to where I needed the cold to be. I needed something that worked better. I found these. There's a lot of shoulder packs to find on Amazon but I didn't like how so many of them looked super bulky. It's good to have ice where you need it, but I also like mobility. I found Newgo and decided I would try it out. I love this company's products so much that I decided to check to see if they had ice packs for your back. When I saw they do I didn't hesitate to make the purchase. This pack stays comfortably on my lower back and doesn't move. It's so easy to put the ice pack in and just as easy to put on. The velcro is solid but not so solid you can't get it on but not back off. It works like a dream. This is very reasonably priced and, unlike the shoulder pack, this comes with 2 gel packs. I use both to alternate heat and ice as needed. I know enough chiropractors, massage therapists, and physical therapists to know that the rule for muscles is 15 minutes of heat and 15 minutes of ice. With this you can do both and it is wonderful and comfortable. Like I've told my little brother, when you get older it's like the check engine light is always on, so it is good to stock up on items that improve your quality of life. Something in/on your body is going to flare up and hurt eventually, so it's good to have an ice pack ready for it when it does. This is a pretty good company to go with. I'm impressed with their products.

I just had my second spine surgery. With the 1st surgery of the cervical spine, I needed an ice pack to help deal with the severe muscle spasms of my shoulders so in preparation for the second surgery, I decided to go ahead and purchase the Newgo Back Ice Wrap ahead of time. 1. The most valuable part of this for me is that there are 2 ice packs which freeze very quickly. This means that there is no reason to be without an ice pack. When I need a new icepack, the other is ready. I simply switch them out and drop the "melted" one in the freezer to refreeze. 2. The shape of the ice packs and the wrap make it easy to put the ice packs in the proper place to close up the wrap and keep the ice packs secure. 3. The wrap serves as a brace for my back as well. 4. The wrap stays in place and does not bind. 5. I can actually use the wrap as a brace to help position myself since bending, lifting, or twisting is not allowed after this surgery. 6. The wrap quickly conforms to my back and is comfortable to wear. 7. The ice packs are essentially flat and fit easily into an over-stuffed freezer.

I love this thing. The NEWGO Gel Ice Pack has been a game-changer for my back pain. It comes with two gel packs, which is incredibly convenient—especially for long days when I need extended relief. I can rotate them out and always have a cold one ready. The adjustable strap is one of my favorite features. It secures the ice pack firmly in place so I can keep moving around without constantly readjusting. Whether I'm sitting, walking, or even doing light chores, it stays put and does its job. Overall, this is a great value for the price. The materials feel durable, the gel stays cold for a reasonable amount of time, and the convenience of having two packs really puts it over the top. Highly recommend if you’re dealing with back issues or just need reliable cold therapy.

Love the way this fits and feels. Two places it could be better: 1 - belt has velcro on one end not both, so I end up with 2+ ft of floppy tail. 2 - size of icepack is small, so the cold doesn't last long. My chiro gave me one about twice the weight, just a standard rectangle, but it fits and I get a *LOT* more cold/heat.

After a trip to the ER for debilitating low back pain, I knew I needed to graduate from using a narrow gel pack to something that would not only bring relief to a larger physical area, but something that would also stay securely in place. This product is a godsend. It was clearly designed and constructed by people who know exactly what those who suffer from low back pain need for relief. Every single aspect of this product shouts quality and durability. Two gel-filled pouches can be used cold or heated and the instructions are right on the pouches—no fumbling around in the package for how-to. Two pouches makes alternating heat and cold very easy and you’re never without a backup pouch. Each pouch fits snugly into a pocket of sorts on the back of the broad belt and velcros securely into place. Simply put the backside of the belt on the desired part of your body, flap the end straps around your tummy and secure them into place. The overall length of the belt measures 47” from strap tip to tip, the straps are 4” in width so there’s no rolling or curling or the straps cutting into your skin, and the pouch and pouch area measures roughly 14x9”. I use this product cold and the insulating properties of the pouches keep the pouch effectively cold for long periods of time, up to an hour or more depending upon the heat of my body at the time of application. And when I need it longer for additional relief, I just pull the second pouch out of the freezer and I’m good to go. I can see this product bringing pain relief to a wide variety of body areas if necessary, but if a person’s waistline measures more than 47” and the desire is to use this pouch for low pack pain relief, it might not work without some modification. Newgo also has a wider line of targeted cold therapy products.

I have been dealing with chronic back pain for over a year (herniated L5 and left & right SI joint dysfunction) and this ice pack has been amazing! I used to have to lie down on a smaller ice pack trying to relieve pain, but with this I can strap it around my back and do whatever. The velcro is strong so the ice pack stays on while I’m doing other things, I even wear it at work. I bartend and wait tables so this ice pack provides amazing relief immediately when I’ve been moving around a little too much. I also wear it while I do stuff around the house and it makes painful tasks a little easier, which is a huge deal! It comes with two ice packs and one wearable pouch. The ice packs stay cold for a good amount of time and actually seem to refreeze pretty quickly. It’s so convenient to be able to switch them out and not have to wait forever to ice again. I have not tried the heat feature on this but I give the coldness a 10/10 on pain relief and convenience! I’ve been using this throughout the day, every day since I got it two months ago and it’s still in great condition and really comfortable. Highly recommend!

Greatconcept. There are lots of products like this to select from. This worked great, except the Velcro closure frayed after the second use. Shortly the whole side would start flapping and become useless. So, I returned it.

Easy to wear. The gel packs can be frozen or heated. Straps on to your body so that you can continue your activities whilst wearing. It’s a durable pouch. Great product.

Great product, good quality with small little details like a sealable bag for the freezer pack, a welcome note and clear instructions for heating. So far it’s helping my back pain, so thank you for a great product!

Great quality! Having 2 packs allows for heat or cold options. Stays on with a soft, wide band. Feels very comfortable when on for extended periods of time.
