If you bought it for a kid the end of the pen is safe and it erases good. It’s a good product.

These are awesome! I love the erasable feature! As an adult woman with ADHD, I tend to write fast and at times misspell words, go figure. These allow me to be my own crazy self, and still fix any careless mistakes I may need to. They’re also smear resistant and have held up well to my (unintentional) abuse 😁
