Hamilton Beach Enameled Cast Iron Fry Pan 8-Inch (Gray, Fry 8-Inch)

I love this pan it came well Packaged and not one chip on it. Yes it is very easy to clean I use a proper brush for these kind of pans and I wash right away with hot water and dish soap while the pan is still warm. The trick is not to cook on high temperature ,low to med is the highest you need to go. I cook on gas stove so I cook on low these pans are heavy and so heat distribution is perfect . You will distroy your pan and burn your food if on higher flame or higher electric dial. Along with difficult cleaning and damage the pan . I am a Chef and have been using these pans for years . I also purchased the larger size Pan. These pans are for my kitchen in South America and I was so happy Amazon was able to ship there. They are excellent quality and 8 inch skillet is perfect size ,also love the pouring lips. The red color is so bright and pretty . I highly recommend these pans. I bought this pan in February 2025 and it still looks brand new without one chip I use it all the time and wash right away while it is still hot easy to clean

This is the perfect size for my cooking needs. The color is also very pretty and goes well in my kitchen. I'm so glad I ordered it and will enjoy using it from now on.

I really like this product. I did a lot of research on toxicity in various pans. I used to use ceramic until I learned it's not great and I used cast iron for years until I learned it's not great either and I was terribly frustrated until I found this product. It's pretty and seems to be the safest type pan I can afford. I gave it one less star becuase certain things do stick to it more than I'd like, but its worth it to me to use a product that feels safe. (Side note-when things arent easily being cleaned off I started using steel wool, lightly, and it cleans well without seeming to damange the enamel. Seems pretty hardy) It also takes longer to heat up than aluminum pans of course but that does not bother me since I cooked with regular cast iron for years. Just takes some adjusting. I also like that it is pretty and no concern for rust like an old school cast iron. Oh it's also quite heavy. Doesn't bother me personally but I was surprised!

No matter how much oil, or butter I put in it to lube it up EVERYTHING STICKS. I’ve tried to make an egg so many times without success. It sticks horribly to it. I have other cast iron enameled that don’t do this, so I have to believe it’s something with the pan cause my other ones I have no issues with. Wish I had the box still so I could send it back but I tossed it thinking there was no way there’d be any issues with it.

This pan is awesome! And it is possible to make an omelet without sticking. You can’t treat it like a normal pan, turn it on, and go. It requires patience. Here’s my method: 1. Preheat pan over medium heat with WATER in it for five minutes. 2. Empty water & dry inside of pan. 3. Add butter. Wait til it melts enough to coat the pan. 4. Add scrambled eggs. Wait until almost fully cooked on top. Flip. Add topping(s). Wait about 30 seconds. Fold. 5. Enjoy. Cons: I only have one complaint so far. You have to be careful when using an electric stovetop with coils. Don’t slide it across the burner because it scrapes the enamel on the bottom. I wish it didn’t do this, or there was a warning about it for first-time users. The pics are my pretty little omelet and the pan right after making it. No gunk! Yay!

The only problem with this pan is that around the top of the pan when it gets wet it rust

I’ve used this pan for about a month now. Mainly for eggs. If I spray it first, clean up is a breeze. I bought the 8” because the larger one would get too heavy for me and I didn’t want to chance dropping it on my induction cooktop. So far I highly recommend this pan. Great value for the price.

I have purchased many non- stick pans and they eventually lose their non-stick and end up in the garbage. This pan is wonderful for frying eggs; chicken breasts; pork chops or just a grill cheese. It’s easy to clean and holds heat well. This pan will last you a lifetime.

Está bien pesada, se ve y se siente bien masiza, y confiable. Si buscas algo ligero no es la opción, para eso hay otras, pero si buscas algo saludable y que de buen sabor (según dicen) no hay como el hierro.

Mi sartén favorito. Libre de tóxicos y no se pega nada si se usa correctamente, ha que calentarlo súper bien antes de poner la comida. Lo volvería a comprar mil veces, pero dura un montón así que no será necesario.
