Clay Bar & Luber Combo Kit for Smooth Paint, 6-Piece Set

I used this kit along with the Chemical Guys 4 bottle polish, autolock polishing pads, and chemical guys ceramic wax (see attached photos). I have never used a Clay & Luber kit before let alone detailed a vehicle. The instructions were very simple. I used the Clean Slate wash then the clay bar as the instructions stated. I did not use the wax that came with the kit, but that is only because I wanted to use the Chemical Guys ceramic wax. So I am unsure on the quality of the wax. I do believe this helped my SERIOUS problem areas on my 2016 Kia Sedona. I have taken my vehicle through car washes but I will admit I probably havent done it enough over the years. Especially since we dont have a garage or car port to shade our vehicles from the elements, and my work parking is uncovered as well. So, my van has taken A LOT of sun over the years as well as ALL the seasons and their respective elements. I took the clay & luber to those serious problem areas only before I used the polishing & wax. I could definitely feel the difference as I was using it. You can feel the resistance as the clay bar is pulling all those contaniments out the the paint, then it glides smooth when there are no longer any in the paint. Even though I cannot say how well this kit works stand-alone I will say that I believe it made a large difference in the end result as well as making the polishing process afterward smoother. The provided towel and sponge were are very nice quality. Originally I thought the bottle of Clean Slate car wash was on the small side, but after seeing that 1oz gets mixed with 5gal of water I quickly changed my mind. The bottle will last another 3 full car washes before it is out, and you ONLY use this wash when you need to remove all previous wax/polish so you can easily do a full detail of the paint. So this bottle will last a while. Considering my van is 10years old, after doing a full detail it looks almost brand new again. I definitely believe it is worth getting, & would purchase again.

I honestly can’t believe how well this clay bar kit worked. I was quoted a ridiculous amount of money by a shop to remove paint overspray that was all over my car, including the glass, and I thought my only option was to pay for professional paint correction. Before spending that money, I decided to try this clay bar kit, and it completely saved me. In a short time, it removed all the overspray from the paint and windows, leaving the surface incredibly smooth and the paint shinier and cleaner than it has been in years. It honestly looks like I had a full professional detail done. This product is a total game changer and worth every penny ,if you have overspray or rough paint, don’t waste your money at a shop before trying this. Highly recommend!

I thought my 2 month old Tesla would always have spots from a giant bug splatting across the hood at high velocity and then in the sun for a day. A friend of mine recommended trying clay and I always go with Chemical Guys so this kit was calling. After about 8 or 9 passes the contaminates were completely removed from my paint. I'm still amazed at how it restored the paint back to new,

The clay bar kit works so well! My motorcycles felt so slick! Silky smooth like Scrappy Coco! I kept wanting to just rub mine. I went on their website and followed the videos too, so they were clayed, quick detailed, hazed, buffed, then wet waxed, hazed, and buffed again. Straight freaking MAGIC. I applied this first time last April and it took me about three hours per bike. In January when I reapplied it, I could easily tell where each needed it and it took me less than an hour (for the claying only). They were just as smooth as the first time. Washes in between are EASY as well.

To prep your car for ceramic coating it is not easy. Requires multiple prep steps, and lots of elbow grease. That's why it's not 5 stars, but the product itself removes impurities from the paint, allowing you to get that super deep shine. It's just requires way more work than just waxing your car. Going through the 1st winter season, so I'll update in spring on how it holds up...

If your like me looking for an affordable kit that gets the job done. This is It. Pretty simple to use. It will help smooth out scratches and imbedded dirt that you can’t get out in just washing and waxing. Mae sure you spray lots of the stuff it comes with, with the clay. You’ll notice it’s rough when you wiping with the clay. Sooner or later you’ll feel it more a smooth wipe then a rough wipe. Once you’ve done all the area you want. Just wipe it away with water or whatever and then wax it. Worked like a charm. Highly recommended.

Absolutely phenomenal product and shocked of the amazing job it did. I had vomit stains on the door of my car for half a year and using this product completely cleaned it off.

You will never go wrong with the Chemical Guys. Note for men: Reading instructions on how to use ANY product is a must for expected results! 😉
