Copper ChefGrill and Bake Mats (2 Pack)

Used my mat one time on the grill. Made some grilled zucchini so nothing crazy. Had the heat relatively low. I cannot get the mat clan and it now has a burn hole in it as well. I do not recommend this product unless of course you use it as a disposable grill mat.

Not so impressed. I received the "mats" not much thicker than a piece of paper and are completely flimsy. They came in a padded envelope with no "Copper Chef" logo, no instructions for use or cleaning, and completely wrinkled. I am returning these today.

I am disappointed in my grill mats. You can't get them clean like you see on tv. After one use, the big one developed 2 holes in it. I think a refund is in order.

Food sticks to mats

I like that when you use the grill mats, you don't get the flame sparking up from your grill as they keep the sauces and juices from freely dripping, for the most part. After a couple of uses, it became harder and harder to keep the mats clean. After about the 8th use, the grill mat sprung a leak. Threw it away. The bake mats I have only used once. Put the mat on a cookie sheet instead of greasing the pan. Worked great.

I primarily use these mats for grilling vegetables such as zucchini, peppers, eggplant, onions, and yes, tomatoes on a gas grill. Cut the veggies 1/4” thick so they hold together. Spray the mat and food with vegetable/canola oil. Some salt, and powdered garlic/onion add extra flavor. Grill as desired. Add a dash of balsamic vinegar as the veggies cool. Serve on a ciabatta roll. Delicious!

I really buy them as "grill liners" because they keep your grill from getting nasty. They allow your food to cook without getting scorched but you so have to clean them almost immediately or at least remove them from the grill in a timely manner so they'll be easier to clean that way. Trust me on this. It has nothing to do with the mat.I can't imagine grilling without them these days.

Really like the copper sheets. Seem to prevent flare up and nothing sticks.
