Fitness Can Kill: Patricia Fisher: Ship's Detective - A Cozy Mystery Adventure

You had to pay attention in this book. Several concurrent stories, some unresolved at the finish. Can't wait for next in the series.

Mr. Higgs...you have done it again as I had no choicebut to read this from start to finish, and being verysatisfied by the end.

I have read both of Steve Higg’s Patricia Fisher mystery series. Reading this one was like catching up with old friends after a long hiatus. Patricia is confronted with 3 murders, 3 wild animals roaming the ship and a plethora of suspects and scenarios. On top of it all, someone aboard ship has a vendetta to mess up Patricia’s life.If this is your first Patricia Fisher mystery - stop! Start with The Missing Sapphire, the first in her series. There are so many companion characters in this series, that starting from the beginning helps to make sense of it all. If you go ahead with this one - enjoy - but be aware that there are many characters involved. It may be a bit confusing.That said, I’m now getting ready to read Higgs Blue Moon Investigations series. Well here is the truth ! I just spent the last 12 hours reading this hilarious book ! I swear I had to take some rest breaks just to clear all the confusion from my brain ! I jest it was a good read and I enjoyed it. I definitely wouldn’t have a couple glasses of wine while reading ! You would get lost and have to start over!

This indeed was a long book. But I thoroughly enjoyed it. The scrapes that Patricia gets into are very entertaining. We all should be so lucky to have friends like hers. On to the next adventure.

Longest book yet! Solving murders, saving reputations, finding treasure, and chasing Buddy, the feces throwing , middle finger waving rock ape. The nemesis was the only mystery I solved prior to ending the book!

Heaven's Snakes Alive! 3 dead bodies. 2 snakes. One knapsack of golden booty. What does it add up to? Murder & mayhem, of course! In addition to her relatively new job as Ship's Detective keeping Patricia Fisher busy, someone is trying to ruin her personally, her boyfriend the Captain is apparently cheating on her, & Buddy, a Gibraltar Ape is still running amok although the rest of his kind were lured off the ship already! Not to mention 2 humongous Boa Constrictors running loose on board! Catch your breath now, for this book keeps you on your toes!!

I have enjoyed every on of Steve Higgs books. From a paranormal detective to a middle aged ship’s detective, and even a more serious paranormal series, they are all fun. Easy reading but full of quirky, yet believable and fun characters. Looking forward to even more to come!

This was a ‘killer’ of a story, one of Steve High’s best yet. No spoilers from me but this has murders, wild animals, dangerous liaisons and deception and finally Amore. I loved it and you will too.

Once again I have enjoyed another fun exciting book from Steve Higgs it's a great read you won't be sorry

I loved this book and couldn't wait for it to be published. The last in the series left a few questions that this book answered and which I needed to be resolved. Of course, now I'm left with a few more questions and have to wait for the next exciting adventure. It's a great read and a good length. I can only say that it's a good thing that Steve Higgs didn't decide to make a career as a villain as he'd be very, very good at it.

I love Felicity and how Steve Higgins's intertwines characters. I'm so looking forward to Felicity's new adventure. Will she find the baddies?
