First of all, I’m a woman with dry and sensitive skin. Okay, so here’s my clear and honest review! I’ve used a trimmer before that cost around ₹600, and I got this Caresmith trimmer for ₹894. Considering the price, it’s a decent trimmer. It gets slightly warm while using it, but it doesn’t get dangerously hot or hot enough to burn or damage your skin, so I didn’t find that to be a major concern. I used it for the first time yesterday on my entire body and face, and honestly, the trimmer is pretty good! **A few things you should know before using it:** **1. Be careful with the eyebrow trimmer!** If you’re a beginner, please be extra careful with the eyebrow trimmer because it trims very quickly and smoothly. You might accidentally trim your eyebrows unevenly if you’re not careful. The body trimmer attachment was decent, but you may need to move it up and down two or three times or swipe over the same area a few times to get a smoother finish. You can also use the round facial trimmer attachment over the same area for a closer finish. Otherwise, tiny hairs may remain. **2. Take breaks while trimming.** Please take frequent breaks instead of using the trimmer continuously for 15–20 minutes. I’d recommend taking a 3–5-minute break between areas, especially if your skin starts feeling warm or uncomfortable. Since I have dry and sensitive skin, I prefer giving my skin some extra care. You can use a cool compress if your skin feels warm, followed by a gentle moisturizer if needed. This isn’t because the trimmer will necessarily irritate your skin every time you use it. Any hair-removal method can cause irritation, depending on your skin type and technique. Taking breaks also gives the device time to cool down and may help prevent excessive heat buildup. **3. Special tips for dry and sensitive skin girlies! 🩷** Most importantly, use the trimmer on clean, completely dry skin without applying lotion, oil, or other products beforehand, unless the manufacturer specifically recommends otherwise. Since I have dry and sensitive skin, I prefer washing my face and body beforehand with gentle, hydrating cleansers. A hyaluronic acid cleanser can be an option, provided it doesn’t leave your skin feeling tight or dry. Make sure your skin feels comfortable after washing. Pat it completely dry before using the trimmer. Avoid exfoliants and products containing strong active ingredients immediately before or after trimming, as they may increase irritation and compromise your skin barrier. After trimming, if your skin feels warm or irritated, apply a cool compress. Never place ice directly on your skin; wrap it in a clean, soft cloth if you choose to use it. Follow up with a gentle, hydrating moisturizer to soothe your skin. If you prefer almond oil, make sure it suits your skin and doesn’t cause irritation. Also, protect your skin from the sun after trimming. Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen if you’re going outdoors, and avoid direct sun exposure if your skin feels irritated. **4. How to clean the trimmer 🧼** Use the cleaning brush provided in the box to remove hair from the attachments. I recommend cleaning them between breaks while trimming to prevent hair buildup and make the process easier. After you’ve finished, detach the attachments from the handle and rinse only those parts that the manufacturer identifies as washable. **Never let the main handle or electrical components come into contact with water.** **5. Battery life 🔋** The battery life is around 90 minutes, which is pretty decent for the price. Follow the manufacturer's charging instructions, and avoid charging it after every use unless necessary or recommended. i am writing this review after using this product for 2 years very nice,worth buying,very easy to clean and mainly the battery is amazing sometimes i forget to charge it but it works eefficiently,but the bad thing is sometimes i get cut by it

I bought it last year in August and I have been using it since, it still trims well, legs, underarms and sensitive areas, does the job. Honestly as a beginner it took to time to understand how to make it work on every area, but once I figured it has been a game changer for me. And yes it can give you small cuts you have bumps or skin tags or on the corners if you're not careful. Also the body trimmer head gets loose with time, sometime it comes off while you're using it. It does remove the hair closely and gives a smooth finish but not quickly you have to keep gliding it multiple times for that. Charging vise its really good, with one time change I can easily use it for 2-3 times. And not to forget the body trimmer is noisy. overall its not perfect but it does the job for me after I learned how to make it work for me.

Update: edited my review as I had an issue which was solved! So I got a replacement trimmer, which is working better than the defective one I had before. Although, I still feel a lil pain when trimming hair about 1 cm long with the new trimmer, so not rating 5 stars. But other than that, It's perfect for my use. All attachments are working well. So, quite happy with the product. Also, the replacement was quick n easy, customer service is great. Thanks Caresmith! 😁
